Eh, wait a minute. Which LED specifically? The 3v “class” is OK in general, but there are specific LEDs which are not appropriate for use with FET drivers. (For example red LEDs are often not a good choice.)

So you are saying that the LED which is soldered onto the Noctigon is a Cree XP-L HI, correct? That’s fine.

To stave off any confusion, it’s probably best to indicate the LED itself and not just the mcpcb it is sitting on. Noctigon is not an LED, whereas the Cree XP-L is an LED. Many different LEDs can sit onto a noctigon mcpcb, so just stating the size of the noctigon is not helpful.
