I had a brief email discussion with the designer two weeks ago. He claimed to be in the final testing phase of a new updated version of his triple 26650. He is expecting to have the lights available for sale in 2 to 3 months time!

That means that there at least two versions currently?
Yes, there are 2 versions. The one you linked is the first version. The 2nd version has a grey colour anodising and a glow in the dark button.
