The list has been updated, I made some mistakes, very sorry for that.
There are a few BLFes who have donated but not given ther BLF nick, they did not react to emails asking for the BLF nicks or to posts in this thread, so for now I have to assume they want to remain anonyous.
If not, please provide the BLF nick.
The list consist of 443 entries, I put myself on place 1, 2 and 3 and consider these as backup entries in case a last minute mistake pops up.
I am going to ask SB to draw a couple of numbers:
1 for the GAW Meteor
1 for the Astrolux SC Copper
1 for the Astrolux A01 Copper
1 as backup 1
1 as backup 2
And then we proceed with ordering the prices.

It is now really closed and if I made no mistakes the counter has reached a whopping $435,-!
Halfway along the way of putting people in the list I had put somebody in 5 times, an obvious mistake, corrected by replacing the two extra entries by a donator who was two times on the list near the end at that time (so i didn’t need to correct 100+ entry numbers)
A mistake like that is easy to spot, but please check your entry, I tried to be as precise as possible but if there is something a miss it can be corrected before the drawing.
There are a very few donators without BLF nick known, those are the names with all those * for privacy reasons. Emails have been send to them.

there are a number of reasons for this:
1 not bad - your BLF nick is not known, you are on the list with a lot of in the name to protect privacy
2 starts to get bad - I accidentally did mess up nicknames or the point/comma thing when cutting in the list to prepare for the PM to be send
3 yeah it gets real bad - I could have copy/pasted your nick wrong when starting the list (that is the data I used after that)
4 very, very, no extremely bad - I did not put you on the list
In all cases please contact me via PM of email and it gets sorted.

When the list is fine the GAW can happen and hopefully SB will help us out here by doing a Random.org drawing for 3 numbers.

This is doable and well a true BLF event I think.

If funds and availability permits, this will be upgraded to the Copper or Stainless Steel version.
If a lot more comes in, there will be a third price and the second and third price will be a X5 or Astrolux counterpart. (you get it, even more, this will be upped to the copper or stainless steel versions depending on how much we have left over when all is clear)

…and there is a topic about the Meteor, not a lot here on BLF have one so why stop at going for one if we maybe could make it happen to have another Meteor-less BLFer join in the fun!

Everybody donates $1,- (actual costs $1,01 via Paypal if fee applies) and we buy sb56637 a Meteor M43 when we reach the amount needed.
If we can get 2 a GAW needs to be organised so a lucky BLFer can in one.
THANKS FROM THE BLF COMMUNITY is going to be engraved in the Meteor for SB, RMM is looking into it now!

Thank you all for participating in this action to thank our admin for BLF! It was very nice to see the responses and pledges, another proof of the great community BLF is!
Here is the current state of the action to get SB a Meteor M43 and attempt for a second Meteor M43 GAW.
We have reached a number where it is obvious the engraved Meteor for SB can be bought and shipped to him.
RMM is now checking the exact pricing for the engraving and we have HOOP as a backup (Thanks HOOP!).
So we are proceding.
It is getting a bit tricky since we have not reached the number for a second for a GAW, so excuse me for all the things below that may read strange, I tried to find the best resolution taking input into account.
The reactions are positive and a lot of pledgers has said they are willing to donate more to make this happen, so kind and cool.
The question is, will you donate and if so how much?
$1,- is highly appreciated.
A $2 (or maximum of $3) donation of enough people will make the GAW happen so it is up to you now.
You can make the donation of choice to the Paypal address wimmm777€gmail!com as gift.
PLEASE WRITE YOUR BLF NAME IN THE MESSAGE FIELD OF PAYPAL.
The order of receiving will be the order of the GAW random.org list.
After considering how it is going thus far I have made up an extra four rules for the GAW.
E1 the number of $ you donate is the number of times your name is on the random.org list.
E2 if you do not want a Meteor and still win the GAW, you can pass the light to another member of your choice.
E3 We will ask SB to do a random.org drawing
E4 When SB gives the number the random.org list will not be made public but send via PM, the winner will be anounced public in the thread
I will make screenshots of the donations, if you want to see them, please drop me an email (the same as the PayPal address) and I will send you the screenies (with big parts of personal information like names/emailadresses blacked out for privacy reasons.)
(I know complicated, and a bit strange, I told you it was tricky now that the number of pledgers has not reahed 400+ ;))
Please do not feel pressured to donate more then $1, most have entered for $1 and $1 is very cool to donate!
I started this and if people feel they do not want to donate at all because the GAW might be out it is their right to do so, no hard feelings. If we do not reach the amount needed for Sbs Meteor because people want out I will cover it, so rest assure whatever you decide is perfectly fine.
If a pledged donation is not in in a week (April 13th 2016) I will assume the pledger has used his/her right to stop participating, again, no problem!
NOTE ONE
If we do not get enough for a second Meteor and have to skip the GAW the remaining funds will be paid back.
First all people who donated $3 will receive a refund till compensated as if they have donated $2
Then all people who have donated $2 and the $3 donators will be refunded till compensated as if they have donated $1
Remaining funds, are divded and refunded to all.
NOTE TWO
When there is a GAW, based on where the Meteor is going to be shipped we wlll order it at the vendor with the best total price (Meteor and shipping)
Surplus funds will be divided as with NOTE ONE.
In all cases surplus funds will be divided as with NOTE ONE.
Do not donate more then $3,- you will be refunded and thus only helping Paypal in the 1% fee they charge
