Budget simple two and four bay charges. What would you recommend?

I have been gifting and selling Nitecore i2 and i4 chargers for what seems forever without issues.
I’m about to stock up on chargers again and wondering what the forum members here would recommend keeping in mind that these are generally going to people who have had no experience with Lithium Ion chargers.
The simpler the better in my book. I call it DH proof.
For single bay chargers I have been using Xtar MC1 over the MC1 Plus for the simplicity. Again I have had no issues with the Xtar chargers.
All comments welcome both good and bad.

Nitecore i2 and i4 chargers

I was fond of my Liitokala 300 dual bay charger but yesterday it charged two cells to resting voltage of 4,23 V so need to test it a little bit and maybe change so subbed

My all-time favorite li-ion charger is the Xtar VP2. Not budget, but really easy to use. I have the MC3000, but 9 out of 10 times I would use the VP2 instead.

I used to give away MC1+ but found out it has a little issue: sometimes it just drops the charging current for no reason from 1A to 0.7~, and it has to be reconnected to restore full charge current.

Just keep doin’ what you’re doin’

+1.

I opted for a pair of VP2s instead of 1 VP4. Excellent chargers, with the capability to charge 3.8v cells (topped off to 4.35v), so they are perfect for the higher voltage laptop pulls that I’ve come across.

Usually when I gift lights in these situations the MC1 works out perfect—I recently bought a couple MC2 to try out—for gifting and in my truck

Thanks for the input guys. Its interesting to read about little niggles after being used for a period of time that don’t show up in the likes of HKJ’s testing. I’ve tested about ten Liitokala’s and everyone over charges ever so slightly on Lithium 4.2 volt batteries, ok on 4.35 volts and NiMH. Needless to say they go with lights that have a NiMH batteries.
If anyone knows of any deals on chargers feel free to post them here as well. Thanks again for the input.

For LiIon only, Xtar VC2. Great ‘bang for the buck’ with LCD voltage display.
