Thank you for your order.

We are sorry for the wait. FastTech displays stock status based on manufacturer’s production and inventory schedules. The item you ordered (SKU 3682500) is currently backlogged due to the production delays its manufacturer is having.

The manufacturer has now confirmed that the item in question can ship in about 5 days. We will have your order shipped as soon as we received the stock.

If you no longer wish to wait, please let us know and we will promptly send you a full refund for it. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay.

FastTech ships products and orders based on their factory’s manufacturing and quality test schedules.

As soon as an order is placed, a scheduled ship date appears in your order. This shipping date matches FastTech’s advertised stock status displayed on product pages at the time the order is placed. FastTech strives to ship all orders on or before this date.

Statistically, over 90% of all orders are shipped prior to the scheduled ship date.

Occasionally items may be unavailable to ship on the scheduled ship date. This is typically due to factories not meeting their production commitments. When this occurs, FastTech shows a restocking badge besides the affected product.

In this case, we’re sorry for the delay. We will confirm with the manufacturer for the restock date and we will ship your order as soon as it is available.

Thank you

You continue to list the item in stock that has been out of stock at least since March 4th. Would you consider listing items out of stock as “out of stock”. As to not confuse the customer.

Is their inventory system that messed up or do they just sell items they don’t have.

I’ve had that happen before. I don’t think they really know what’s in stock or not. Sometimes they update out-of-stock items but that seems to be more or less randomly.

While I don’t think it’s maliciously done it sure is frustrating when it happens and you don’t know about it until weeks down the line.

I have also noticed this with thier XP-L HI emitters. Most of them are listed as in stock, there not.

I love how they blame the IT department when they have one of the best designed websites out of the lot. The stock level is feature is there but they still take orders for items they don’t have.

The simple truth is with over 100,000 SKUs they don’t have stock of every item they sell. They are simply resellers, when an order is placed they contact the manufacturer and only then do they realize there will be a delay. I would be fine with this if they didn’t lie to the consumer and say its in stock when they don’t actually keep any stock, simply fulfill orders.

Watching some of the tours you get to see what these companies are really made of. You may notice BG is more then happy to provide real photos and video when they have the items, the rest of the time it’s taken straight from the manufacturers.

Contact user name fasttech here with your problem and see what the response is. Please report back.

It's just a translation thing. 'Ships in 3 days' really means 'We have no idea but if we told you that you would postpone your order, and we like money.'

those are not DAYS, those are CHINESE DAYS… must be like chinese lumens, lmFao…

You are assuming that ships in 3 days means today + 3.

One day I’ll put in an email “If real days or Chinese days?”

you guys make it sound like they take all the orders outstanding, throw them up in the air, and the ones that land in the HAT get shipped that day…

From the way I’m seeing it, Fasttech inventory is worse than Gearbest.
I did cancelled my order with FT last month exactly due to this reason.
They said “Ship within 3 days” but after a week passed by, I dropped them a ticket and received that stupid exact reply.

Only a week? I waited over a month for one of those 'Ships in 3 days' items.

The frustrating thing is when the entire order is held up waiting for an item that is discontinued and you don’t know about it until you contact them. I had this happen several times with Fasttech.

Same experiences here:

SKU.4348605 is listed as “In Stock” and has been since I ordered on March 01.
https://www.fasttech.com/p/4348605

I ordered four of these. On March 28, I received this notice via the FastTech ticket system:

_“We are sorry to write here that during packaging, we discovered that the item SKU 4348605 (UltraFire 18W 1*COB 1890LM 3000K LED Emitter)—(2 pcs) we were about to ship out is actually not ready for ship because we had mistaken the stock in the system.

Please note that the status of your order is displayed as packaging in the system, but actually it is not ready due to the above mentioned item. Your order will be shipped once this item is restocked. And a shipment notification will be sent to you at the same time.“_

…but their system still shows that it is in stock. There has been a lot of discussion on their horrible stock status updates in the FastTech Deals thread:

FastTech service seems to have slipped a lot recently, and I’ve had several orders that were held up in a similar manner. I have another order placed on March 28, which included several XP-G2 emitters, listed as “Ships in 3 business days”. The entire order is now held up as the emitters are listed as “Restocking” with no ETA. My more recent orders through Gearbest have been better experiences than with FastTech.

Had a similar experience, but they refunded within a few days, which is ok.

Well, that’s because I wrote to their CS on my order.
If I do nothing, maybe a month without any notification from their CS.

On a separate note, my 2 orders from Gearbest were delivered within 2 weeks last month.
So thumbs up to GB, but thumbs down to FT

Cancelled the order on April 10th. Still says in stock. Ordered same item April 9th from Banggood and got it today. Fasttech did refund the money in 2 days.
