Bought a Duracell charger at the supermarket, before I was on here. Now looking at buying envelops for my AA needs, and wondering if the duracell charger is fine to use with these, or if a dedicated envelop charger is needed?
Look at the spec’s of the charger, my Duracell charger can charge NiMH batteries like the Eneloop.
I bought Amazon own brand batteries last time as many people thought that they were the Eneloop which had been repackaged.
The Duracell charger will work, but will probably be a rather bad charger. Many chargers from the big brands are bad, they may used timed charger or even no termination at all and the modesl with correct termination often charges two cells in series, i.e. only one of the cells will be charged correctly.
