Sorry for the cheesy thread title. A PM with another member provoked me to start this thread. I think probably my favorite thing about this forum is the diverse group of nationalities we have here. As an American I really appreciate that. I really want to see more international contributions here. I am actually quite amazed how diverse this community is. I've never been that active on web forums outside of my college alma mater athletics site, which obviously would be quite American (outside of international students, but they are rarely concerned with the major sport of the school). This is a refreshing change for me :)

What blows my mind is how well everybody gets along. Like I mentioned somewhere else, I recently joined a couple of other forums and you can't read 5 threads before somebody gets their panties in a wad over the stupidest thing. I'll never forget when troop called me on my cell a while back after I was AWOL for a while. I'll guarantee you that wouldn't happen on a Camaro board. (not discounting the possibility of nice folks being on a Camaro forum, by the way) It was fun getting to know Budgeteer (from Slovenia) when I was arranging a Bass Pro Shops purchase for him.
Of course, then there's my confidant, Boaz. I'm probably only one of many who PM him every time I need to vent.
Despite my feelings for CPF, the great crash of last fall (wasn't it?) is why I'm here and no longer there.
