Latest SkyRC MC3000 Firmware

Hi all.

For those people who own a MC3000, which is the last firmware version you are using? Where did you download it?

Thanks in advance!

:frowning:

The improved firmware it not out yet.

The charger should have been sold with a bug-catcher haha!

I received today an e-mail from SkyRC, Karl Peng, Sales Department.

I asked them some questions about the PC program to control the MC3000, the firmware and the mobile device app.

He confirms that the MC3000 PC program has not been developed for Windows 10 64 bit. So I will need to run it from a Windows 7 32bit machine, or try the compatibility modes of Win10. I will keep you all updated about my tests.

My current MC3000 firmware version is the latest, 1.03, (Hardware version 1.4) and downloads from new version have been disabled until the new firmware 1.04 is released. The date of release is still unknown. :frowning:

Regarding the Mobile App, they expect to update the app a few times during this year, so we will need to stay tuned.

At least they answered my mail, so seems to be a serious company.

The charger itselfs on its own its totally amazing, once you know how to configure it.

kreisl on cpf is pretty sure there will be no fw update in april.

Im on firmware 1.03 and hw 1.4

My mc3000 might be playing up.
I cant get it to charge using the eneloop type battery setting.
I keep getting “capacity cut” abnormal termination.
Hoping I can get in touch with the manufacturer directly to see if I have a dud unit.
Very much doubt that I have 20 defective eneloops even though they have been lying around used sporatically, charged infrequently on standard aa nimh slow charger they seem to work.
Have tried a factory reset and changing battery type and model settings for eneloop.
Going to try NIMH battery setting and dial in the capacity at 2600ma.
There is an option in the NIMH mode to switch OFF the capacity.
Not sure if its a good idea to switch off safety features though.
My batteries are panasonic eneloop pro 2450ma
The “capacity cut” termination kicks in at about 1.5v event though target volt set to 1.65
The Mah reading shows around 2300-2400 just before abnormal termination.
Batteries read around 1.4v after resting overnight.

Worts thing is, i dont know what exactly triggers this abnormal termination.
It happens during the charge phase on any program of tried.
I got the capacity cut blues.
Just want to see this thing cycle through a few C>D>C.
Is that too much to ask???
