Hello guys, recently i have purchased the trustfire f15 and it just works for few sec. The flashlight turned to be so hot and not working anymore :(
Should i just throw it away? or change the driver can fix it up?
Make sure that everything is screwed in, the pill and the tail cap.
Use good quality battery. PCB on the battery could be tripping.
test the battery , which one did you use BTW. hope it was one 18650 not 2 rcr123.
test the driver and led , do you have a multimeter or can borrow one ?
you can get some good light out of that light , dont toss it.
if you didnt put the wrong batts in it contact the seller ! ask them what they are going to do about it
Check out the troubleshooting thread for some good tips. A lot of times you can fix a light without too much trouble. Sometimes it takes a lot of trouble . . .
Thanks for the help guys, i get my flashlight working again :D. I found that the black wire is disconnected from the driver. So after solder it back, everything work just fine.
