I bought 100 of these lights about a year ago and I’m now going to sell 50 of them first come first served. I’m just too backed up on other projects to mod the rest of them right now. Although if you do want a custom built drop in let me know just keep in mind I’m behind by at least two weeks right now. They do come with a Drop in, the typical 5 mode driver and XM-L2 emitter. The “pill” on these are actually hollow but surprisingly they still transfer heat just fine. Add $1 for a copper sleeve that goes around the drop-in for even better heat transfer (especially if you plan to mod them). The anodizing on these is very nice and they do come with a clip.
These are $7.50 each plus actual shipping. I’ll keep shipping costs as low as possible. This is the price that I bought them for so sorry but no discounts for buying more.

Do you know what max current the tailcap switches those come with will carry (safely)?
Also, can you show a pic of the driver it comes with and also the back of the pill? Is the driver soldered into that pill already, or just separate part?
Howdy, I have run a BLF DD driver and a XHP-50 with the tailcap with no problems. The driver isn’t soldered in place it’s press fit and pops right out.

Pretty much whatever you want done to be honest. I have made these into 3x lights and even XHP-50’s. I build my own drivers when I mod them and program them as well. So pretty much anything you can think of. But those are for custom built mods and the price depends on what you want done. For someone just starting out you can do a spring mod, heavy wires, a de-dome and possibly even a driver mod on this driver itself. I’d have to give it shot and see what can be done with this one.
Not sure. What kind of output will it have with the new emitter? Might be nice to make up for less lumens with the Nichia. Also price may be a factor depending on how much the project costs.
Figure driver and nichia on a noctigon will cost an extra $10 if I install them.
Nichia’s don’t have a ton of output but up around 2.8amps on a noctigon you get pretty bright light. Good enough for outdoor use flashing around your yard and stuff. When you get down to 2amps they are still pretty efficient but the lumens do drop off enough to really notice.
