Panasonic/Sanyo NCR18650GA 3,79$ (MOQ 40pcs) EU

This guy from Endless-sphere forum is selling NCR18650GA cells for very good price,3.79$ each

The catch is,MOQ is 40pcs;still if someone needs 40+ cells this is ubeatable price.
He’s form EU,but he ships worldwide.

how do you rate GA vs. 30Q?

They are Different type of batteries / chemistry. GA is I think best high capacity cell up to 10A, 30Q and vtc5a are best for 20, perhaps 30a

30q is destroying GA especialy in fet dd setup, yet GA has better capacity( 400mah ) and works better with most buck drivers( better current values even with a single battery setups like M2x or M22 , i could never explain myself why)

Thats an awesom deal realy, thanks Neven! , Pmed the guy

I like to keep multiple batteries brands around like 3400b, 30q, hg2, mj1, GA etc. I don’t have anything that pulls more than 6amps. And that’s the convoy l6. I do have the BLF x6. S70 etc occasionally use the 18650 spacers in them. My question to you is. If you had to pick one cell for overall use. Would it be the ga/mj1 or a 30q/hg2 base cell. Looking to stock up and replace some old cells. And just stuck on both sides of the fence. So I’ve just been buying like 2 cells every few weeks. Either 30q/hg2 or mj1/ga kinda just at random how I’m feeling when I order. they all can handle my lights for (now) being the key word. I’m not the best at interpretation of graphs. Bit I thought I’ve read before just because a cell has higher mah it could not last as long depending on the discharge curve. I could be wrong the article was a long time ago

Sanyo GA is the best all-around cell for flashlight use. Sure it doesn’t reach 15A or 20A like the 30Q/HG2/VTC5 but you won’t be drawing that much current for more than a couple seconds anyways, actually for extended operation you’ll probably draw 3A at most, simply because of the heat produced. The GA is actually a ~3300mAh cell and the 30Q a ~2800mAh cell. I find myself using my lights in 300-500lm mode most of the time which is below 1A draw.

Of course, always keep a pair or two of the high drain cells.

From HKJ’s test: If you find it difficult interpreting the graph just look at how much area each of the line covers, that translates into energy. Generally more energy = more runtime.

I have PM’d Tumich last month but it seems like the GA are still out of stock…

Thanks for your reply, guess I’ll stock up slowly on those. I have the lg equivalent landing tomorrow or Friday. I’d like to try the Samsung 35e at some point since its there version of this new high capacity 10amp cell. I’ve heard some horror stories on here about gearbest. But never had a bad experience yet. Had a cracked battery case but the batteries were fine. But anyway the sanyo ga cell is on flash sale for about 4.61 a cell
