100,000 lumen flashlight anyone?

I'm sure many thought I was reporting a Chinese vendor who was a bit too free with the zeroes but it's actually a real light of sorts made by
Zweibrüder Optoelectronics (I'm hesitant to call it a flashlight even if that's how it's described), although not exactly budget and I doubt it uses batteries (hence the general forum)

No beam shots unfortunately.... :-P

Just squeeze 12pcs of the 100W LEDs at DX and there you have it. usd68 each. Problem is reflector.

Go to aliexpress and search for those aquarium LED lights. Lots of designs. Think they max out at 1.2kW.

You can actually get 300W naked LEDs like that from eBay, aliexpress and the like

Yeah...but pretty expensive ($ per watt). Think one vendor wanted to make even 1kW but it was too costly and idea was shelved. (not sure where did i read it from)

Edit - hey seems like they have come down in price.

wow, I want one.

I know some of them do customised orders. Usually for things like colours they don't normally stock (but do produce for small LEDs). Price is obviously not good for customised orders. But if anyone really wanted a 1kW one, they may be able to get someone to make one. At that price I'd expect they'd want you to prepay but you probably wouldn't need to order more then 1. At a random guess you'd probably play ~$1000 which is a rather expensive LED.

I'm all over this thing for an EDC...
