absolutely.test equipment is a triton hobby charger.
i still have 2 and will test them over the holiday weekend.
the other 4 from the order are in box mods and doing great.
Thank you ‘snakebite’, looking forward to the results.

Are you at all interested in modding my Utorch UT02 (Manker U21)? I would certainly pay for materials. Maybe work a trade of some kind? Maybe a new in package Lumintop TD16? Or something else.
update.
i discovered high resistance in my test rig.banana plugs to my holder were losing their tension.
charged the cells again and started another discharge.holding 4.13v @ 1a at start.
was 3.96v.
so these are likely better than we thought.
stay tuned…

What do you want done with it? I like a dedomed XPL in it, but some might prefer it domed.
These are a bit wider and a bit shorter then most other 26650’s, it fits like a glove in the L6, it doesn’t fall when inserted it just slowly lowers itself to the bottom.
Gonna get some serious amps mangled from them pretty soon…
The BMS low voltage/under discharge protection works well. I accidentally hard-shorted the BP+/B- terminals while assembling the stuff, a lil smoke crept away… Had to hook the thing up to the charger board to relive it. Quite interesting to notice my multimeter could actually measure some volts at the output terminals after the “accident”, a below 1Hz voltage signal oscillating between very high 6s and low 7s.

Interesting, I picked up some of these because of good reports earlier, but I have not tested them, waiting for some nice new light. Maybe I will test them when my test charges arrives and then put them back at storage voltage until I have a need for them. They sure seem like a pretty good bargain.
Thanks for that link! As far as I am concerned this pretty well verifies what we thought all along.
Which brings me to another realization.
If HKJ’s “Discharge Capacity numbers” are accurate, and I feel sure they are; my LiitoKala Lii-500 is much more accurate than my Opus BT C-3100 v2.2 when measuring “Discharge Capacity”. Interesting……..
Edit: Forgot to say……
My Opus reads consistently high, and from some of the Opus numbers some others have posted in the past, mine appears not to be the only one.

Yes I think that it is generally accepted that the OPUS is a little “optimistic” in terms of cell capacity.
My OPUS certainly is.
“Optimistic” that is a very scholarly way to say that!! I “b” impresseded.
Do you happen to be a “scholar” ??? Edit: I was doing some looking back on things I had written down, and best I remember Ian; you and I compared numbers from LiitoKala 26650’s done on both chargers. Our numbers were very comparable for both chargers as each of us has a Lii-500 & a BT C-3100. Pretty interesting results for two different continents.

Yes our numbers were almost identical.
These cells have proved to be pretty uniform in capacity tests done by many different members
It is nice also to now have HKJ“s review to confirm what many members have experienced with these cells.
Also the Lii-500 chargers seem to be pretty consistent as well
Just ordered qty 4 of the singles - shipping to us is only $3.73 now for qty 4, much less than previous. I was able to use some pts so got it down to $21.95 shipped for 4.
After 40-50 cycles mine still test at 5200 mah on my opus. I do tend to baby them. No more then 1 amp charging usually very rarely 2 amps. And if no other cells need charging I’ll let them charge at 500mah overnight
Edit wanted to add my opus slightly undercharges. So capacity may have been slightly higher if it was charged to 4.20 or higher. I regret not getting another 4 of these cells last summer. I regret not stocking up on old xpg2 as well. But I digress.
My vc2 goes to the high end of 4.23-4.24 which is fine with me its within spec. My liito 100 overcharges. Just saw the other day 4.27 and was on the right setting. Wonder how long its been cooking my cells.

Blf has changed a lot since I've been here. Lots of snow flakes and easily offended over nothing. When the forum use to be great and people joked around and could take a joke. It's a forum it's not that serious. Let's make BLF great again!
It depends sometimes two work with no modification. And sometimes they don’t. The jaxman connecters work great. And cheap. I ended up taking a small knife and bending each of the openings on the top just barely up so they make contact. Works flawlessly now. Its luck of the draw some peoples work in series without a blob or connector and some don’t.

These are flat tops and will not work in the L6 without modification. I just bought a Jaxman battery adapter instead of trying to solder on the batteries.

I received four from GearBest yesterday, first charge>discharge cycle @ 1A down to 2,8V :
I started the cycle this morning before I went to work so the cell voltage recovered a bit.
I am recharging them now :
What is the max current draw you get these from these in a direct drive set up? I just bought 6 shipping was 11 USD so i hope they do well.

Yesterday i received my 2 pcs. I put them to the test with my Opus.
1 cell at 1A – 5434mAh
2 cell at 1A – 5534mAh
I will test them these days on my L6 and will see how they perform.
Received one from Banggood. Did discharge test in Opus BT-C100: 4898mAh. A bit disappointing. Impedance test afterwards showed 76mR.
Just noticed that the product listing has disappeared from Banggood…

Well HKJ has now reviewed these cells & says about them “The cell live up to its rating and is one of the top performers for 26650 at the current time.”
