If buying from US, which i prefer myself.

It doesn’t matter where they come from as long as
they are pretty good quality and protected.

^^^^ This! Great deals on QUALITY cells.

Just checking for some more links to protected battery suggestions .

FandyFire 4000mah Protected 26650

I was thinking about a 26650 flashlight recently and was sniffing around for cheapish 26650 protected batteries and came across these on GearBest

Disclaimer: I have no idea if they're any good or not because I didn't end up making the jump to 26650 flashlights

I would seriously stay away from any *fire brand li ion cells. At the very best they do not conform to specified parameters and at worst can be really dangerous. Buy cells from reputable manufacturers and beware of counterfeits to minimize safety concerns.

With quality comes price and i would give my money to Richard everytime. :+1:

I totally understand the quality issue , just looking
around for more links with different brands , prices
and free shipping if possible , if the shipping times
are not stupid and ridiculous !

P.S.,
In my OP , I stated “good”. ( meaning: quality )

Here’s 2 more for you:

If buying from US, which i prefer myself. Just got some in the other day from illum. . Or save .50 cents and get something labeled -fire direct from China. Just remember that the word fire is a name and a description. So wrap yer boyz up good and tight with some asbestos layers before you choose to pocket carry. I can get you a couple more links if you want.

Hope I helped.

These 2 links were already here in post #2 . Do you have any more links to good quality protected cells ?

Nope. I was thinking that those were very good choices.

Over 5000mAh at 12 Amp current load.

I’ve been very aware of the B.S. about all those batteries in the
“Fire” family , meaning the AnusFire , ButtFire , and etc. They
are somewhat like IEDs.—-Dangerous and also not as advertised !

another option.

I agree - stay away from names ending with word …fire

Good old CBA IV Computerized Battery Analyzer is a gift sent from battery gods.
Well… expensive one

I have had a pair of those Thorfire 26650 cells for a couple of months now.
Tested well in my analysing charger at a little over the claimed 5000mah & low IR.
I have used them in my S70 drawing about 5A & they have worked well
They are the only “fire” cells I would personally use as I have found Thorfire products to be good quality & as advertised

**I have some ??’s about these ThorFires in regards to the “FIRE” name !

1—Are these from the notorious “**FIRE” family of batteries ?—(I hope not)
2—Manufactured by Who & Where ?
3—What charger/analyzer did you check them with ?
4—What other info can anyone tell me about these 26650 cells ?
