Has anyone tried this warm white C8 on KD? I am wondering if it's direct drive the famous KDC8

Good to have both, since I can always swap the emitter if the driver in WW is crappy. [Provided that the WW is not too warm for me - I'm a bit allergic to yellow, but love NW - hard to explain.. :)]
It won't actually be a T6 bin XM-L, most cheap chinese sites just call any XM-L a 'T6' led. The majority of people don't understand the difference or care so it makes sense to them from a marketing viewpoint.. Still it's good to see warms being offered, I really want a single mode warm XM-L drop-in driven around 2A, but I can't see one of them coming anytime soon.
I really doubt it's a t6. T4 or T5 at best.

oh and a friend of mine has this warm white c8 from kd already, will shoot beamshots on thursday probably
no beamshots, only observations -it's nice, probably ~3000K (warmer than 5A3), still solid throw (SMO) but the reflector rattles and typical 5-mode blinky driver
