1000 lumen + led bulb with accurate color temp and good CRI?

Hi guys, i had terrible experience with different led bulbs with all being 1000K less then then rated 6000K instead of 5000K and 5000K instead of 4000.

Im looking for a decent, and affordable led bulb with worldwide shipping, preferable 4000K and not less then 3500K max, the item must be with worldwide shipping to EU. Thanks!

Anyone?

Guys?

Ordered some real cheap warm white led filament bulbs
But all for lights with multiple bulbs so I wanted them to be not bright
All other LEDs in the house we replaced with warm white LED bulbs and spots we bought in hardware stores
So if they were not good we could go back
Cost us between €7,99 and ~€20 so it was not cheap.

I ordered a number of the cheap eBay WW filament LED bulbs. These were purchased as they were the brightest small candelabra-based LED bulbs I could find. I like them, but the tint/CRI is not very good. Not offensive to me though… They have a bit of flicker you can see on fan blades too.

I like the cheap ~10W/60w-equiv Utilitech bulbs I’ve been buying from Lowe’s. They make a very natural looking light and seem to render colors well. I don’t have any way to quantify color temp or CRI though.

Hi guys, please leave out links where i can get them, thanks.

“leave out” can be taken 2 totally opposite ways. :stuck_out_tongue:

leave out so that you can click them or leave out (omit them)

I would think you would want the links.

CREE and FEIT both make high CRI bulbs, but over 1000 lumen with a cooler temperature is going to be tough, real tough to find. They will also be very expensive and will consume more watts per lumen.
I have both the FEIT and the CREE high CRI, but only in the 800 lumen range. Both are warm white ~2700K

Put links i meant, i need to buy them from Ebay if possible.

1000+ lumen led bulb
good CRI
around 4000K, not less then 3500K max
affordable
worldwide shipping

Hitting every requirement will be quite difficult. I suspect that it’s just not available at an affordable price. Honestly, people aren’t going to be throwing links at you. I wish we could.

I’d like to find just 1000+ lumen, high CRI, affordable.

How do you like them?

To meet OP’s requirements you’re probably going to have to look at a CREE XHP50 or XHP70 high CRI. This will probably cost $40 just for one emitter including shipping. And since I think they’re 12v emitters you’re going to need a multicell light or a nice boost driver to run it. It won’t be cheap.

By affordable i mean something in 10-20$ range, which is far from cheap even for that kind of bulb.

And no, i don’t need leds i got no time to mod them i need regular light bulbs….thanks for the answers…

Try Philips, Osram or Mirabella.

Do you use B22 (bayonet) or E27 (screw) type bulbs, and 110V or 240V in your country?

What do you consider good CRI, 80, 90? Nearly all of them tend to be rated around 80-83 CRI.

LED bulb manafactures usually call 80+ High CRI and 90+ CRI LED bulbs aren’t very common.

There is around 350 reviews of bulbs at this site: http://www.ledbenchmark.com/

Every review has claimed specs and actual measured specs such as colour temp, CRI and lumens etc.

There are quite a few LED down lights that are over 90 CRI such as this “(clicky)”:Lighting Matters LM X15 LED Light review but its usually a trade off with lumens for high CRI.

If you are after down lights heres a few high CRI examples copied from Whirlpool:

Thanks for the great observations and remarks!

Over 80-85 is fine for me

i use E27 240V.

I forgot to mention that i prefer very wide angle or beam light.

I have tried a lot of different LED bulbs, and really like IKEA’s LEDARE brand. For a combination of value quality and CRI I think they are very hard to match, but they are lower than 4000k and the 1000 lumen ones are quite long.

There’s a similar thread over on CPF right now.

To quote Markr6:

If you click “BROWSE LEDS” on the link above you can filter them by E27 and 240V bulbs, that should narrow it down to 2 pages.

Although theres probably 100s more not listed but usually any of the big brands in lighting you can trust their specs, anything no name from eBay or Chinese sites will be way off.

Thanks alot guys!

Amazon is not option for me, i need something with worldwide international shipping, like ebay or some store.

I have an Eveready Commander 4×D flashlight. Stock lumen is 130. I want to upgrade the intensity. Can anyone suggest a LED and Driver for the mod? P.S. I want to continue running the light with D cells.
Thanks.
