XHP35 single cell driver FX35 @ KD

Hey folks i was cruising KD and came across this driver it looks very interesting.

Sorry if this has already been posted i searched but didn’t find any thing!

SPECS…
Input Voltage: 3V - 4.5V (1 Cell)
Output: 12.5V 1000mA max.
Mode: Hi(1000mA) > Lo(200mA) > Strobe

Features:

  1. Memory Function: ( < 3 secs )

2. Low voltage Protection:
< 3V , it changes to Lo-mode and keeps flashing

3. Over-heat Protection

Dimensions: 22mm ( Dia. ) x 2mm (Thickness of PCB)
x 7mm (Thickness)(including all component)

Weight: 5g

I do not know that much about drivers but the output is around 12.5 watts? It should be drawing about 3.3 amps from the battery at 3.7 volts depending in efficiency i guess? so you can bump that figure to maybe 4 amps.
On the standard version XHP35 this should be good for around 1700 lumen OTF? The modes suck only low and high and strobe but the biggest selling point is the 22mm size.

I think there was a GB for a KD, single cell driver. will look for thread.
EDIT: my bad, that was for a dual cell driver.

But bad UI

Regards Xandre

If only did it not have blink I would reconsider the Jaxman Z1 host build.
Good find.

I don’t mind the blinky mode but it could use a medium mode and maybe a few more amps the power is still okay…

anyone tried it? can be moded ?

Hey mate i bought one but i am yet to use it. I will try tomorrow if i get time.

nice,hope it worth it.

13w is normal for an xpl or similar. Why go for multichip xhp35 for such low wattage?

Hotspot would be larger? And efficency lower?

Low mode 0.5amp input - 0.17 amps output

High mode 4.22 amps input - 1.13 amps output

Would this driver fit inside of a c8 or x6?

its 22mm driver.
thanks zeremefico, did you tryed to mod the driver? any sense resistors ?

Absolutely not, 17mm vs 22mm

Not visible sense resistors, I will take some macro pics soon.

Not bad should be good for over 1800 lumens

Was just curious would make w great mod I would think. I have a sipik 98 clone and the guy on here that did it used a 20mm to 17mm adapter so didn’t know if there was some way to make it work somehow. Even by shaving the driver down if that was possible

I believe sense resistors are under square component.

Hey mate you should be able to make it fit by shaving down the light on a 20mm driver light I was thinking about using a D80.

Yea the driver doesn’t look very mod friendly

thanks for the photos.
