If any members are into robotics and want to see what happens when you REALLY abuse Li-Ion cells check out the two latest episodes of Battle-Bots. Crazy, wicked carnage w/ plenty of fumes, flames and even a full-on ‘blast’. I was glad to see the fireman using a full face respirator when putting out a disabled ‘bot’. ABC is airing the new Battle-Bots. The ‘flipper-bots’ are the most impressive IMO, being able to effortlessly fling a 250 lb. opponent 6 feet into the air.
