Hey all, I have for sale a modified Balder light, a BD-4. The BD-4 has has it’s led replaced with an XHP-50 on copper noctigon. The led has been shaved. The driver is now a fet driver running Guppydrv rev.2 ui. The light has 18awg wires going to led and connecting the driver. All springs bypassed in this one as well. There is a slight donut hole, but this is pretty common for these LEDs. The light is in 10/10 condition. Price is net $45 shipped to US and actual shipping everywhere else.

It’s definitely a worthwhile mod. The light is so hefty that I know it can handle any amount of heat you throw at it! I’m not 100% keen about selling it, but I need funds for a certain flooder I’ve been drooling over.

Bump for you. I can verify the BD-4 is a nice piece of work and super hefty. These were over $100 when they were introduced several years ago. $45 shipped is a heck of a deal with those mods.
Another bump for your sale. That BD-4 host is ridiculously well made and overbuilt. Top notch build quality all the way and with those mods you’ve done it’s an absolute steal at the asking price.

Ok, so only measurement I have is 90 kcd. I don’t have an amp meter that will measure over 500mA. Probably should get one of those!
