An important characteristic of a flashlight for me is portability/carryability. I often am not wearing clothing with pockets big enough for a single cell 26650 light, so I like belt clips. They work well for these medium sized lights like the solar storm K2 and Supfire L6. I personally prefer a belt clip attached to the light instead of a holster because I find the belt clip faster, less bulky, and it’s one less thing to find/lose.
However I haven’t found any belt clip solutions for these lights. Does anyone know of any solutions/products? Belt clips are common on 18650 sized lights like the eagle eye X6, C8, fenix TK15.
I have resorted to adapting 18650 sized clips for use with the larger diameter lights. Starting with the convoy deep carry clip, I broke off the legs that wrap around the body, then lashed the clip to the larger 26650 light body with nylon twine and strategically reinforced with epoxy. It looks utilitarian, but it is very sturdy. I will post a picture tomorrow.
