Budget Chinese sites. Top three and bottom three. Vote.

Which are the best of the ultra cheap Chinese sites and which are the bottom in your opinion?

Top three in my experience and these are not great sites, just the best of a bad lot. I’m sure I will not be agreed with on my top three because there are plenty of things wrong with them.

1. Wallbuys. I’ve never actually had an issue with them. Maybe lucky?

2. Tmart. Often not the cheapest but when I use the USA warehouse, shipping is pretty fast.

3. Banggood. Often the cheapest around. Canadien warehouse males shipping quick to me.

Bottom three.

1. DinoDirect. Basically they are just criminals. Nothing good to say about them at all. High prices, slow shipping. Sometimes they don’t even bother to ship an item. If you don’t say anything, they wouldn’t even tell you they canceled your order but they keep your money. Underhanded dealings and zero morals. Worst of the worst in every way. Nobody is actually close to as bad as Dino, they are in a class by themselves.

2. DX. I’ve given up on them.

3. Gearbest. Too many problems. I don’t order from them anymore either. Not worth the hassle when Banggod is about the same stuff for the same prices more or less.

Never ordered from Wallbuys or Tmart, my few order from DX went well, i otherwise agree with your assessment of Banggood, Dino and gearbest.

I’ve never had a problem with any of the chinese vendors so they all rate as good for me

What about Fasttech? In my experience they have been very good in the 2 times I had doa deliveries.

Edited 8/14 to fix a word my phone decided to use.

Fasttech used to be great but lately they have fallen off. They are in the middle somewhere IMHO. I will order from them but they are not my go to.

Top:

  1. Gearbest/everbuying. Provide special expedited shipping to russia and some other counties, high cost low weight products can be shipped this way without extra money or for very small extra cost
  2. Banggood. Best customer service, all problems can be solved fast.
  3. Fasttech. I really like that they usually post truth about actual shipping date of ordered products and if I dont want to wait I can simply cancel one item by myself and receive refund quickly.
    Bottom:
  4. Tmart. Seems that they dont order any new product while price of old stock raised to unbelievable level.
  5. Buyincoins. Same to tmart + they make mistakes with order packaging to often.
  6. Dx.com. Sometimes they ship items without tracking when you have paid for it.

I’ve had bad experience with wallbuys. They advertised an XM-L2 light and sent me an XM-L instead.

BangGood and FastTech are my favorites.

1- Simon & Intl-outdoor are #1

2- BangGood & FastTech are very good-

3- GearBest gets better by the day-

4- illuminationgear.com has some good stuff, is not very well known, ships FAST

I haven't bought from LightMalls, DX, Tmart in years, so I generally stick with 1-4 and the usual good guys from the USA-

I have had good luck with FastTech and BangGood and Ali Express.

Ali has good bargains. I get my LEDs and Drivers there. 100% so far.

Only non-delivery was Kaidomain.

They are all about equal and suck equally when you get an item that has a problem.

1) Gearbest can not beat the prices! Even though i have worked with them i would say the customer service is on par with the rest of them no worse!

2) Fasttech the best range if and when they have it in stock i am talking about flashlight parts lol! Plus $2 extra you get australia post shipping!

3) Banggood discount codes. but generally they are more expensive then the other two.

I will add a shout out to DX because they have an Aussie warehouse but its much more expensive.

Wallbuy's heyday has ended in 2014.

I’d have to say gear best, had one issue recently but it got worked out. First order out of like 6 that had a problem. Just ordered 8 ncr18650ga for $33 can’t beat the prices 30q 8 pack $30 if you need cells their prices can’t be beat 32 ncr18650b for $100 shipped.

I’ve used banggood on group buys can’t really complain about them. My x6 had a drop of paste on the lense but it wasn’t worth the hassle I just disassembled the light and cleaned it. But I expected a $40 light to come perfect. Would order again though, other lights came perfect,

I’ve used lightmalls and they are actually working on a surprise for blf members at me and another members help. Hopefully to be revealed in the next few months.

Can’t say anything about fastech I tried to buy some cells awhile back and they wouldn’t ship so I went to gear best. I will continue to get cells from.gear best. I just wish they had more of selection. They are working on it though. I sent them a feedback email asking.them to carry more cells. And a couple more choices have been added since.

Don’t know anything about the others listed or much experience on aliexpress except Simon’s store where I purchased the l6 directly from trying to support his work directly.

Edit I just remembered I did purchase my p12gt from ledsupermall. Order paid and they shipped the next day. They were charging like $20 less then everyone else for the light $49 instead of $70. Sometimes they run specials and then some lights they are more expensive then other companies. When the sales hit though usually good. Guess they try to clear stock if it sits to long

All of them are Great! OR Terrible! depending on what they did to you this week.

Well, it's true. I have liked and hated all of them at least once or more over the years. Now I just think they all are just about the same and could be the same person.

I find no real difference in any of them. All of them can ship fast, or can ship slow, because they usually do not do the shipping. They drop ship using others who have the product. All of them can offer good or poor quality, again depending on the real seller, that had the item in stock and shipped it to you. All of them can have poor customer support and they do if they think they can get away with it. Especially, again, if the real seller/shipper does not want to cooperate in the return or replacement of the item that was defective.

1) Gearbest My favorite store. I placed nearly 40 orders because of the good prices with flashsale or codes. The delivery-time to Germany is fast ( 8-14 days in the middle) and the customer service is really fast and good. I like the GB-Points because you get extra 30% discount.

2) Banggood I placed 16 orders since may 2016. Many times they have really good prices too with codes or sale offers. The delivery
time is a little longer to Germany ( 10-16 days), the customer service is not that fast at Gearbest but good too. The BG-Points produce only 15% discount and its harder to collect them.

3). Fasttech I placed 15 orders since december 2015 ( e-smoke-equipment and Li-Ion Batteries). Not that cheap as GB or BG, no Flashsale or codes (only 5%). The deliverytime is 18-28 days to Germany. You could change your FT-Points only if you have collected 10$ in one year.

Like the entry before: GearBest, BangGood and FastTech. I can add Jaxman. Maybe not always the fastest and things don’t go always as they should in the first attempt but in the end we always managed to come to a satisfying agreement. Since I joined BLF only one order has gone missing but the amount involved was so small I let it go. On the other end of the scale are sellers where I purchase less but who also always delivered. Only once we agreed on a refund. So I don’t want to bash anyone.
Not every seller makes me smile always. Wanna see me turn green, big, and very angry? Just say “CD WOW HD”.

I order from Banggood , Gearbest , Fasttech , Kaidomain and so far no problem with any of them

Same as above - I’ve placed about 20 orders with Gearbest, 2 with Fasttech, and my first one with Banggood and would order from any of them again. I had one issue with Gearbest (ordered AAA nimh batteries and they were no good) and they gave me a refund into my “wallet”. They have also improved their shipping - I used to get 18650 batteries loose in the package but my last order of 8 batteries arrived today and they were in two nice 4 battery holders. Gearbest charged me 19 cents (yes, 19/100 of a dollar) for tracking and it worked. I ordered the batteries on July 15, the package was scanned at the Czech Republic on 7/28, New York on 8/8, and delivered to my door today.

I wouldn’t deal with “Newfrog” again. I bought something from them on the auction site and it went well, but right after I started receiving all kinds of spam from sellers.

I’ve bought a few times each from GB, BG, FT, and AE. So far so good. Slow shipping is the Chinese norm, and poor packing is almost the same. It’s all got here eventually.

Don’t expect greatness and they’re OK to buy cheap stuff from, buy expensive stuff from more reliable sources.

Phil

Bottom is definitely DX. Bought flashlight and paid with store credit recently - never showed up of course.
DX is dying, living from what once was a fame, but only few desperadoes, that don’t know any better, use them now as GB/BG are many times bigger now.

All birds fly, all babies cry.
