Do anyone know who runs The Bright Side Forums? for some reason my account email address is blocked there, ( claims its spam) and no matter what i try to change it to its still blocked, meaning i can not post replies, topics, or contact their admin to get it fixed. ( I was going to post my reviews there as i do here)
Same here. Looks like they have serious problems with their registration procedure.
I tried three different Email providers, and all are blocked. ( including gmail and yahoo mail…) and with that issue i can not post a topic, reply, or even contact them about the issue.
I think it’s the ISP they are blocking rather than the email address. Certain ISPs, especially the larger ones (like Comcast) have been used by spammers at some point and subsequently get blocked by over-zealous admins.
My IP # is being blocked by theirsettings. It’s one of thousands upon thousands assigned to Centurylink. Someone there has got carried away with their anti spam efforts. I tried a second IP after rebooting my modem. Same issue.
The email associated with the forum registrant is
SUPPORT@ILLUMINATIONSUPPLY.COM
Give that a try.
Ooops.forgot where I was…. I’m using verizon, another big block of IP’s it makes no sense to block.
First time I have heard of that forum.From the support adress and that the first two administrators are called Calvin and csshih, it must originate from Craig and Calvin from illumination supply, now illumn.com.
Perhaps a PM to CalvinIS ? He may have answers?
Why is it that there are no posts there after 2014?
Are you sure that forum is still active? I looked at it now, all most recent reply to threads are from 2014
EDIT: maybe they blocked ALL IPs to block registration and leave it as a read only database?
