Videos - UniqueFire UF-2100 XM-L 5 mode

First video shows outside beamshots. What it doesn't show is all the ambient light that there was.

This video compares it to my Uniquefire G10 1-mode. My regular EDC.

I really like this flashlight. Even though it's a bit too big for front pocket EDC, I've been doing so since I got it. I just love the output!

I'll prob soon tire of the budge in my pocket however, and assign it to jacket pocket duties. Winter is coming! More pockets and more darkness!

Pros:

  • Bright - draws 3.6A hi, 1.8A med & 150mA on low (w/o tailcap resistance)
  • Fairly compact - less than 120mm long (less than 4.75") and 24mm wide.
  • Nice smooth, floody beam considering it has a SMO.
  • Can tailstand but wobbles due to tailcap protuding out.
  • Great hand warmer! Get's hot in a jiffy on high mode.
  • Great value @ $15-$16.00.

Cons:

  • Dry & dirty threads (but of course). No longer a con.
  • Needs a 14mm black tail cap button.
  • Knurling is smooth as silk!
  • Body "feels" thin but no thinner than my Inova XO or X5 did. So it's ok I guess.
  • Brown blotch on LED's dome. (??)
  • Battery rattle with all my cells.

Hope this is useful for anyone on the fence about this light...whether for or against. =)

Excellent videos - thanks!!!

I can also confirm that 2 UFs from my 1st order and a 3rd one now, have also this "Brown blotch on LED's dome",

so I believe it was a whole batch of LED's, probably sold to UniqueFire at a lower price (and a reason we have this flashlight at such a price)...!!!

Mine doesn't have brown blotch :)

And small piece of paper stops battery rattling.

It doesn't seem to affect output or beam shape so I'm ok with it @ $15. If the 2100 was 3-4x the cost, I would want an exchange..lol

I had that same blotch on my 3-mode but it came right off with some gentle finger nail action. Better than new now.
