S2+ Triple XP-L HI V2 Turbo Timer Time?

in the middle of getting an S2+ triple together. Want to get a FET +1 driver ordered. Kinda up in the air what to buy as far as FW. But if I do order something that requires a turbo timer, How long before I get burned? I am tolerant to heat but do not want to burn this up. I may order a couple FET+1’s, Bistro, Guppy Dual and A6. A6 needs to be set @ order.

So far I have the triple XP-l HI V2 5A2 on Noctigon, Soldered to the copper spacer which is also soldered to the S2+ pillar.

holes for the optic base pins are clear, not full of solder… Optical-dilusion…

30 seconds on turbo is about the max the S2+ can handle

Thanks, was hoping to hear 60sec. but figured it was 30.
May just try the Bistro w/ temp regulation on the S2+
And get the A6 no timer for the Astrolux SS to replace the wonk’d (heat intolerant) factory driver in that.

30 sec with FET 1 also works nicely for me in the S2. The S2+ is such a great platform for experimenting with various builds without breaking the bank….

Have several S2+ now but they all are Grey. Really like that color and finish. Finally put a Blue one in the cart because the metal SW I want to try. And my first S2… Grey of course.

Got the FET Fettish pretty bad. Mainly cause they are compact and fit into almost anything.

Guppydrv, if you order from MtnElectronics, allows you to set your own turbo timer. Or turn it off. I think it is available on FET and FET +1 drivers.

Yeah Guppy DUAL w/ ML.

I have ordered 3 FET+1
Guppy DUAL
A6 no timer
and Bistro

I have the Guppy in a few lights and like it. Most are set to 17. ML - 5% - 15% - 50% - 100% | Memory
Kinda set it and forget it.

Getting used to A6 FW with my S41, SS & a couple A6’s. I do like the reversing of the modes without going through all again.

Think the Bistro is going in the S2+ triple as I ordered 2 of those. Want to try the Temp sensing. Modes seem simple to operate once set.
