Good deal - Rayovac Sportsman Xtreme 55-Lumens Rebel w/holster and lenses

Buy.com has model SP1WCLIP-B on sale for $11.99 shipped.  Looks like a good deal.

That is a very good price.  I have the Sportsman Xtreme EZ-Focus 100 Lumen light and it is a very nive and solidly built flashlight but mine dod not come with 3 extra colored lenses, a holster and a pocket clip.  I'll have to think about that one since I already have a bunch of aa lights.

I was made aware of an even better buy, a Black and Decker version of this same light at Wallyworld for 10 bucks: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Black-and-Decker-Cliplight-2-AA/14034165

Guys, could we please keep this forum international and mark regional offers as such?

Agreed but....

It is interesting to see what the US pays compared to the rest of us. Which is way less usually. Jealous!!!!!!!!!!

You bet - sorry for the oversight!

edit: Don't know if it's possible, but a convenient marker would be a location stated in our profile, along with number of posts, date joined etc.  I'd like to know where all you folks are from, anyway.

Depends on what folks say when they set up a membership. Which may, or may not, be accurate.

Me, I'm from the north eastern part of Scotland. Aberdeen (57.09N, 2.09W) to be more precise, and not the one in Maryland or the one in Hong Kong, or the 5 others I know of. There may well be others - Scots got everywhere.

Though I was born in Glasgow. No Mean City should yield some Google results. Ignore the ones in Turkey.

I'm in the USA. Lowes and Home Depot had the new Mini Maglites with the Rebel LED (69 lumens) multimode for $10. This was a couple of months ago.

midieval10 - I usually pick up a couple of these when they go on sale, but didn't last time and I'm still kicking myself.

Don - I'm not far from Aberdeen, MD; I'm in Westminster (not England). Wink  Just added my location to see if it pops into my profile. (Nope).

I have the version before this one but I wasn't too thrilled with its build quality and brightness. I remember having to put some glue on the pill because it kept falling off. Now sometimes it flickers and I have to hit it to make it stay on. Maybe I just got a bad one. Might grab the new version next time they have it on sale. How do you like yours?

I gave away a couple and have one boxed up from a recent move, so I haven't even tried it yet.  I believe they were all Rebels, though.

Maybe we can start a new thread where we introduce ourselves to each other with names (first names will do), where we live, what we do (work, hobbies) and maybe a short or long (it depends on what you want to say and share) personal history of whatever you feel comfortable talking about.  It can be just a name, location, occupation, or whatever else you feel like sharing.  Just a suggestion.
