With the number of lights currently on the market trying to find the right one for me is making my head spin lol. I would greatly appreciate some help finding the best light to suit my needs. Here’s what I’m looking for:
A high CRI LED
Must have a very low moonlight mode (would prefer 0.2 or less lumens)
I’m more concerned about maximum runtime than output so it doesn’t need to be the brightest.
Would prefer the light to always start on the last used setting or lowest setting.
The simplest light like that would be a convoy s2,s6 or s2+ type host ,A blf driver of some form and a high cri emitter on a copper star.

A decent host you like the looks and feel of ./a great driver / and the emitter of your choice .
you can do a BLF a-6 –25$ or less
BUT The emitter will probably disapoint you if you’re looking for High cri .If you can’t live with the tint than you swap the emitter … and you’re at about 30$
If you build it yourself from a convoy s2 host or a s2+ you can probably do it for under 25$
The 18650 tube lights are probably my favorite …Quality and easy to mod by anyone
