Flooder under/around 100$

Can you point me a decent flooder in the price category up to 100$.
May be a bit more if necessary.

Will be used for tunnel inspections so that more light is better.
The throw is not a factor here.

Expectations:

- run time 2 hours;

- battery 26650/18650;

  • power bank function as extra.

Hi,

How about the Thrunite TN30 mini? Great light for a great price compared to the bigger Thrunite models. It doesn’t have a powerbank function though. A floody light with powerbank is the JKK35. If I’m not mistaken, the latter only accepts unprotected cells, that’s why I’m not too keen on.

Cheers!

I still have not found anything to replace my Fenix PD40 and a Cree MT-G2.

I suspect any high lumen output light will get hot for extended runtimes. So you want something that has suitable modes.

My choices would be either the Noctigon M43 or the new Manker M34. Both just over your budget, but not by much. And the M43 has a deal going on at the moment.

Both can be had with high Nichia LEDs, which might be a benefit for you.

Convoy L6. No power bank functionality, but everything else suits your needs comfortably (batteries + charger + torch = 90 dollars at most).

ADDENDUM: Can anyone confirm if the Liitokala Lii-100 charger fits 26650’s? If so, that’s a viable power bank for OP.

I believe mecarmy is coming out with a new one but I doubt it is under $100.

The PT60 and PT80 start from around 249$ I believe…

Fits.

And even bigger cells

This would be my only flashlight if I had to choose only one.

Thanks for your inputs and pointed lights!

Seems Manker MK34 Nichia 219B will be my choice. Good specs and form factor for our needs.
The price is over the edge of the specification.
Will postpone any movement until found any beamshots.

P.S. I understand some of the opinions if the choice is for “the only flashlight if I had to choose only one”.
I need pure flood light with wide 90/120º angle which be used for 15-20 meters distance.

Thanks on both accounts!

Look up the jkk35, 3xml2 3x 18650 and has a powerbank function and USB charging $50

If nothing else convoy l6 would probably work on high I think its around 3 hours or so. Or a thorfire s70.

@Bonham

PM our member M4DM4X and see if he can get you a discount code.

With the current coupon, the Convoy L6 is a hell of a deal at around $45.

Probably not. Manker doesn’t allow discounts and codes.

The L6 can do most tasks; its one problem is its size, but even that makes the use on the highest setting a most usable flashlight.

I am trying to reduce my flashlight group to a minimum, but the Convoy L6 will be my number one choice. :slight_smile:

Already got Manker MK34 and ’m happy. :slight_smile:

Thank you friends!

Wow, that is beautiful flashlight!!! Must resist…. must resists! Got any beamshots? Did you get Nichia 219B??

The Haikelight has the potential to be very good. Not class leading, but damn close. They have at least one triple XHP70 sent out for review. It’s about $100, and you can already order it, but wait for a review if you can spare the time. It uses 4x18650. No power bank function though. They’re supposed to make a “super” flooder, and since that’s not supposed to be compact, maybe that’ll have a powerbank function.

I’ll second the JKK. It’s not the most powerful light, and might not even be much of a flooder, but it should be relatively easy to mod into a great flooder. Actually, if you’re thinking of modding, you might be better off with the JKK18. Iirc, it’s the same, except it has a single emitter in a narrower head and costs a little less. My mod plan would be to make the appropriate spacers to run it with 4x XPL and a Carclo lens. I actually have a JKK18 somewhere… If I can find it, I’ll try testing how much current the powerbank puts out.
