How much heat 3x xhp50 can produce?
3x XHP-50 driven hard at a constant rate will produce a lot of heat. In this light the driver does not maintain its initial high output for long so the heat isn’t much of an issue.

The XHP-35 HI version does a much better job in that regard. Makes for a throwier beam and produces plenty of heat as well.
This version is much better, but it can be driver a bit more

Would still buy a S70 or L6 and be happy with the measely 3,5-4k lumens though 
The S70 arrived, I’m wainting for liitokalas to make a test and comprove the output…… I suspect mine is not push 3k lm :cry:
With 2 samsungs 26f, that pulls 3A of tail :weary:

I would agree with that. The L6 is a little less bright and doesn’t throw as far; however, it is far more manageable in size and weight. The L6 also has much better build quality and consistency. It can also be picked it up on sale for around $40 which is just an amazing deal.

Love Simons Convoy too much not to choose it (and the warmer tint is a big pro) and I have warm feelings towards J-Dub74.
Love the S70 with its fine anodization, slick feel, all the extras that come with it and cell status easy to be seen via the side switch AND we work with Thorfire on the Q8
So it is way beyond objective for me, I declared a tight and keep it at that 
$40? Was it at BG anniversary sale?
