Update: 06-15-2017
I have two good things to share today!
1) The S series sized holster has been updated. The soft velcro pad (loop side) on the flap is now roughly three times longer. This allows it to fold into a much smaller package so it works nicely for shorter lights like the 18350 version of the S2. In the picture below I have a clear S2 in the top one and a blue 18350 shorty S2+ in the one below. :+1:
2) We now have the same quality holster in a C8 size. :student:
I’ll report back with more on which lights it will fit as soon as mine arrive.
It looks like it will cover lights a bit larger as well as a bit smaller than the C8. :+1:
I’ll add the link here when the C8 sized holster becomes officially available in the Convoy store.
After months of Simon searching for the right source for quality Convoy holsters we have success!
The first genuine Convoy holster is made for the S series tube lights.
Note the nice wide elastic across the bottom of the spare 18650 carrier. I’ve always liked that idea but all my holsters that have that pouch have a thin little piece of elastic that could slip off and drop your spare cell…not Convoy. :+1:
I know not everyone will share my opinion but personally I love the orange stitching and seeing the Convoy name proudly displayed as it should be!

Removed my comment about it possibly fitting the M1/M2. Simon confirmed that the holster will not fit the M1 or M2. That was an assumption on my part. Sorry.
One step at a time. I can’t wait until mine arrive. I have many tube lights without holsters. If this one is as nice as it looks I’ll be picking up a bunch of these. If this one works out well then we should be able to offer holsters for more Convoy models in the near future. I know a nice holster for the L2 and L6 is high on the wanted list.
Is it just me or does the battery holder change sides in those pics?
is there a battery spot on both sides?
Otherwise, great looking holder. and i like the orange as well. but i could be an idea to get them with different color stitching as people like different colors.
I think it’s only on one side but let me confirm with Simon. Most of my pictures show the battery pouch on the left side if you were to put it on your belt but a few show it on the right side. I have some preliminary pictures before he listed it and I just went through them all. Most seem to indicate that it’s on the left side but a few definitely show a right side pouch. :person_facepalming:
In summary…I’m confused :face_with_monocle:
I will find out which side it is on or if both and I will report back. Personally, I’m fine with either or both but I do want to know. Stay tuned…
