Hey everyone. Im looking to buy this tube 18350 tube to make my s2+ smaller. Ive searched and searched, but does anyone know if protected 18350 batteries will fit?

I know unprotected will fit, but someone must have tried a protected Cell in these lights? Hoping to find out before i pull the trigger on the light, tube, cells etc and potentially waste money. Thanks!

I have a short tube S2+ UV. I’m using Efest 900mAh protected cells with mine. It’s a tight fit, but they do work.

Edit: I’m using button top Efest’s. They do come in flat top’s as well. Those should add a little clearence. You can get them here.

Atbglenn is correct. My Convoy S+ 18350 came in yesterday and I equipped it with the same Efest 900mAh button top protected cell. It slides right in with a gentle push. Works great.

Is the Convoy pocket clip for the S2+ shorty reversible? Can it be reversed, snapped in, and worn on a cap?
