Coyotehawk will add you to his sign up list for a second light. You’ll see your name when he does the next update. It will be sometime mid January when you are emailed with the details of where to go and how to order.
If you plan to buy batteries, please sign up for them in that link I have. This let’s the guys know how many sets they need to keep on hand.

I can remember the bold, but I usually have to check the others. You can simply highlight a word then click the button to alter it. Here are samples.
I made a separate purchase for the batteries right before the Giggles shipped so I guess I didn’t make it in time, should I just refund the batteries then?
You can either let Neal send them to you or ask him for a refund. I’m sure he will take care of you either way.

Sent him a message a few days ago no response, I’ll wait a week till things cool down. Probably way busy.

Send Neal a message about it but don’t expect a reply till things settle down some. Either way he will be the one to talk to about it once he has time to breath.
Please add me to the list. This would be for my 2nd. Thank you!

Things are not going to cool down in a week, 100% sure…
I’m actually hoping he will do the third group payments in a week or two so that he can get caught up with the earlier orders. Maybe then he could give a few more updates on how the shipping is going. It’s his prerogative, of course.

Yeah, I am not planning on sending out the next set of payment PM’s until the current orders are much closer to being caught up. At this rate figure 2 weeks or more.
how does my modded tn42, push out close to 2600 lumens, with xhp35 hi i wonder ?
In the final preproduction sample Texas Ace measured 2,490 lumens at 2 amps and 2,630 lumens at 2.5 amps.
my ceiling in my office is tuned close to what the lights put out
every light i own is pretty consistent with the lux readings bounced off the ceiling
both my gts bounce out at around 2000 lumens or so
I asked Texas_Ace about this and here is what he said.

Hey TA, since you’ve got your production light now, is it still putting out 2600 lumen?
It is the same LED so it should be exactly the same as the test LED +/- the binning tolerances (aka, 7% either direction)
It should be around ~2500-2600 lumens at the emitter. People have to remember that getting a reading in the light is very hard, if the entire reflector is not in the sphere, the reading will be much lower as quite a bit of the beam is along the outside edge. Even a ceiling bounce can be skewed as they are not usually setup for mega throwers like this.
After the reflector and lens losses I would expect the OTF lumens to be around ~2200 if I had to guess.

UPDATES: It appears that the first couple of shipments are going out by region instead of the exact order in which we paid for cost reasons. Initial quality has been fantastic.
The first shipment of lights (168 total) shipped on Dec 23. This was a pallet going to the USA from the first 576th person on the paid list that did not include batteries. Tracking numbers went out on Dec 27 and lights started arriving to customers on Dec 29th.
There should be a European order going out in January.
The next group to purchase lights (#1000 and up on the list) will get their emails mid January instead of early January in order to let Neal get caught up with current orders.
Welcome 18000bph, you won’t regret joining here. Well, not immediately. You might become a severe flashaholic like some of the rest of us and regret it in the end but it will be too late then to matter.
As has been said repeatedly in this thread, your request will be picked up and you will be added to the list with the next scan from the team members that are keeping track, you will then be notified in the PM’s here on the forum when it’s time to make your payment, instructions on how to do so will be included at that time.
My Dad showing the massive GT against his new (birthday present) Q8…
Easily far and away the largest flashlight in my collection (only some of which is represented here)
And of course, who’s surprised I already got into mine and made changes? The centering ring is actually a single large piece of what appears to be Delrin, with holes cut in the black plastic to clear the hold down screws going through the MCPCB, this keeps the centering ring stable and is well done, nice attention to detail…
The full copper MCPCB is DTP and has standard thermal paste under it, the pattern shows the inprint of the pressure the two screws provided…
The driver, as fleshed out by TA and DEL, virtually bulletproof in this application and heavily tested for our satisfaction and ease of mind…
And a couple of comparisons, to the BTU Shocker and the even larger Olight SR90 Intimidator. Added a shot with the Shocker and a Convoy L6. I guess the Intimidator is now the one forced into some timidity….
I got into it the same day I got it, swapped the warm 4000K XHP-35 for a whiter version more to my liking.
Thanks Lumintop, excellent job on this… and thanks again to the team that provided vigilance to ensure everything about it was to our liking…. well done!

Any idea when those in the 1st to 576th spot who DID order batteries will ship? If I had known that including cells would result in a shipping delay, I might have ordered without. Oh well. I mean, let’s be honest here, I don’t need this light at all!

Everyone at blf thought they would be shipped by order of purchased. We were surprised that they were instead grouped together by region. We assume it was a way to save money, save time, and get a lot of lights out quickly.
As for the lights with batteries, I do not know. Neal has been pretty busy and not given much info. It will probably be TA that gets ahold of him. When he does, I’ll post up any new info.
We know DHL lights do ship very fast!
