To all those worried about getting your light and upset over the shipping time.
No one is happy with how long the shipping has taken, we had assumed maybe 2-3 weeks to finish this, not 2-3 months.
The fact is there is nothing the team or lumintop could have done to make it faster. The lights are all ready to go, expect for the reflectors.
Well,i apreciate the work the team has put in this light and everything was smooth till shipping; i understand the team didnt take decisions about shipping, but never before there was any explanation that shipping would go to DHL first and preferentially 3lots to USA ; i suppose the lack of explaining things this way, have let other members upset; before, there was mentioned that for shipping costs the dhl full palet, but now, lets face it: does it make less expensive to send all the rest of the units registered? Knowing that registered units would take 2-3 weeks to arrive to its members, couldnt be choosen at least second or third lot to go to registered units , so at least these members would have their lights by the end of january, while almost all DHL would have em allready by that date? I am about 200th on the list and kept waiting, separately i ordered 8cells through neal,to have em shipped separately GT for weight/custom issue, payed in 15th of december, but never received an answer from him since then, even though i sent him emails – Now,if any of you would put yourself in my shoes, what would you do
I am not stressed about when it will ship, when ever I get it it will be OK.
But no communication from manufacturer is really making me angry and disappointed.
Can’t they just give some general info how and when will they ship instead of us making wild guesses?
If I have to wait 2 more months for it to arrive I have no problem, but I would like to know that’s how it’s going to be.

I don’t know if the manufacturer is to blame, it seems Neal is acting as middle man between team and manufacturer, and by the looks of it is shipping if i understand correctly between 100 and 200 lights a week due to reflector availability constraints witch is not (shipping so much or should we say little lights in a week) by any mean a full time job.
Still Neal who apparently speaks very decent english and has a BLF account is still hiding behind TA and team, creates a communication mess and doesn’t make the effort to adress the situation clearly and directly, a past message also insinuated that he took a cut of the sells (don’t know if it’s true) wich would give him even more accountability, my only disappointment in this is Neal not owning to his responsibilities and acting a bit shady.
I am afraid that things are going to boil over here..
Let’s all calm down a bit and see if Neal will eventually find some time to visit BLF and give us some explanation

We were not told that DHL would be first or that the USA would be first until after it happened either.
I honestly don’t think they really thought about it themselves since they assumed the complete order of reflectors would be on site and all the lights would be shipped within a few weeks.
I am afraid that things are going to boil over here..
Let’s all calm down a bit and see if Neal will eventually find some time to visit BLF and give us some explanation
Yes, none of this is leading anywhere good.
There is positively nothing that can be done at this point besides waiting for the reflectors to be made.
I at least am not worried and in no hurry receiving the light.
I felt that I needed to responded on a post that stated that people upset about the shipping order were just being negative. I did not agree and was trying to explain why, while at the same time still being enthousiastic about the GT-project, some disappointment in how shipping goes is understandable.
No need to get upset
We are all going to get what we paid for
But after some time you just have to write down what bothers you…
I believe people would be more calm with more information.

I agree that those that have not received the lights have a right to be disappointed, I am disappointed that it is taking this long myself.
How far down the list are we regarding payment PM’s? Just trying to get an idea of when to expect mine so I can plan for it, #1274 iirc
Up to #1049, which is only about 850 orders. Once these are all shipped, or almost all shipped, Texas_Ace will decide when to send out the PM for the last group of people to purchase.
I wish next payment for new orders are done only after everyone from first and second batches who paid in last December got their lights or at least got notification by DHL, Fedex or Neal with tracking number to confirm.
Lumintop can continue to produce BLF GT even though orders are not in. They should not be worried as the interest of GT is still very high.
Just my thought.
We are barking up the wrong tree. The Team has nothing to do with the order of shipping. They have done a spectacular job, yet they receive lots of unearned criticism.
It is the people at Lumintop responsible for the shipping or anyone else they have hired for managing the shipping who is causing this mess. Still, I think this is just a bad misunderstanding and not a sign that people from Europe and the rest of the world are second class customers. I am sure the Team will try to prevent this in all future group buys.
Well….7 weeks since I’ve paid and still no tracking number, can’t blame the dev team though, very disappointing compared to how nicely the Q8 shipped.
This is one of the most anticipated lights I’ve ever ordered and easily the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had, let’s hope that Lumintop are learning from this.
Your still gonna get yours before many others even get a chance to pay for theirs. Think positive. No need for negativity.
You were not responding to me but your post does apply: I think that many people, like me, and the GT-team, think extremely positive about this group buy (and regularly post about it ) but at the same time are a bit disappointed about how the shipping goes and showing that as well. LOL, for flashoholics no flashlight is just a flashlight
+1
For me it is also a lot of money
I have been thinking positive for many days, but positive thinking is being consumed little by little and each time there less
Yeah for us South Americans its a lot of money, here in brazil the cost of GT its amost 1/3 minimum wage and 3.5x the price in U$….. I´m VERY worried without tracking code, the packet could be lost, stolen, arrives and taxed and with that condition it have a time until I have to pay the time stocked and the worst…. Send back to sender
I have been blessed by God to have conditions to spend in lights even more expensive like my TN40S and other things not too important to live while many others are “falling apart” here and not have the little amount of GT to spend in food in the entire of month. This make me give more respect for my money and I understand if few peoples think it is only another pretext to “make another random rant “, but I have to tell this, this is I’m feeling
I understand what Texas Ace told about the team have no control about it, I have only thanks the team about the project and the effort spend in this, but I’m disapointed with Lumintop crew about the “secret” and ambiguous way those lights are shipped and notificatios comes (IF comes)
For many here the tracking code could be some “frill”, for me its crucial!

I am from Argentina, and I fully understand your situation, because it is the same as mine, it does not bother me at all the shipping time, but the shipping information is absolutely necessary, as well as the companion g-sintornillos, greetings !!
I am surprised to see so many people thought logistics companies don’t co-operate on shipping.
I used to see that from time to time, stuffs got delivered to me not by DHL but with a big DHL label on the box.
Tracking notices are coming in for the 4th shipment saying it will ship on the 19/20th. This should be a mix of USA and international orders. Lights are expected on the 23rd, but some are already being delivered to Australia. FedEx and TNT are also being used. More news to come.

My GT just arrived in regional VIC, Australia.
I was second last on the 555 list and 10th on the paid list.
This thing is insane. Can't wait for dark haha.
Edit: I didn't get any notice from DHL or Neal, so don't get too stressed if you don't hear anything. It will show up eventually.

I just received my BLF GT here in Sydney Australia at 5:15pm Oz time.
It was delivered by TNT and there was no notification that it was coming.
WOW this thing is really BIG!
Yes the beam is yellowy similar to the beam in my DEFT X.
I was in the second list after 555.
DHL with batteries, TNT delivered.
Go figure.
Thanks to all the team for producing such a big and beautiful thrower.
A big thank you to Lumintop as the finished product looks so good.
Was this a light that was shipped on the 9th or the 19th?
I’m guessing TNT is a local delivery service?
