LG ICR18650D1 3000mAh 4.35v

LG ICR18650D1 3000mAh 4.35v
Anyone bought these from Banggood or Gearbest. Are they likely genuine?
I don’t have a way of testing them.

all batteries I bought there were the real ones

if your light draws 2A or more its better to go for 18650MJ1 or 18650-30Q

Most of my single die lights are running around 3.0 amps or so. The D1 testing shows the curve diving off around 2.5 amps. very disappointing. I need LG to make a 4.35V rated around 7-10A continuous discharge. Hurry up over there fellas

Sanyo-Panasonic , LG, Samsung 4.35V are all made for low current load. They are already “stretched” to 4.35V, and higher currents are impossible.

Max discharge current for LG D1 is 1.5C under normal conditions, but keep in mind that discharging 4.35V cells (when charged fully) must stop at 3.0V (not 2.5V)

Is the 18650 E1 similar story

4.35V ICR cells are a nice option for restoring laptop packs designed for 4.2V cells, you may only reach below 90% of maximum capacity, but cycle life should improve because the cells idle below their nominal end-of-charge voltage, which is beneficial for their lifespan.

A few months ago I overhauled a pack for a friend with some Sammie ICR18650-30Bs.

Cheers ^:)

LG E1
Samsung ICR18650-30B
Panasonic/Sanyo UR18650ZTA

Great cells for loads btwn 1 - 2.5 Amps

Xtar VP2 can charge them to 4.35V
