Two more big head (deep and wide reflector) XM-L lights

Today at DX, have appeared these at "new arrivals"

Both are 2x18650... and they seems to have a deep and wide reflector... not very cheap, not very expensive..

Titanium color http://www.dealextreme.com/p/t6-900-lumen-5-mode-white-led-flashlight-ti...

Black color http://www.dealextreme.com/p/t6-900-lumen-5-mode-white-led-flashlight-bl...

Pity they have 2 strobe modes and no memory

I dont know how they will perform

WOW m3tal_lord, thanks!

Now in that photos I see the big amount of "heatsink fins" it has.... (more than the TF 3T6)

EDIT: the battery tube is thick (the walls)

I saw these a few hours ago on DX.

My first thought was, 'ooh, I should post these on BLF before fran82 does'.

But then I couldn't be bothered...

At current exchange rates 245 Yuan is $38.39 USD.  I can't read what that Chinese language site says about shipping.

It seems that the DX price is OK, shipped worldwide......in a month or three.

Tailcap casting looks a little rough in the DX pics.

I do believe I've found the thrower I want for Christmas. 5-modes, starting on high and no memory = awesome!  Excellent build quality (judging from pics), wide & deep reflector, fantastic heat sinking...looks like a winner to me. I can almost believe the 800 meter claim. If this was a single cell light like the X9 it'd be perfect but it's still pretty close. Hmmm...titanium or black...that is the question.

I'm looking forward to seeing a comparison between this light and others. Smile

The reflector looks deeper than the one on the X9 so possibly less spill.

Old SST-50 host,

I meansured STL-V2 is about 48000 lux with DX lux-meter

(EagleTac M2XC4 3XR2 = 23,000 lux)

(TK35 =  24,000 lux)

(ITP SA2 XP-E R2  = 3800 lux)

XM-L T6 3A with Dmini Ultra - Turbofoce 63mm = 57000 lux

IMO

STL-V2 with bigger and wider reflector  = bigger hotspot than 2 these flashlight.

But for lux reading, wait for someone's review Wink

I was thinking of buying this light with the 11% discount on DX so the price would be $36.75.

Can someone try and talk me out of this, the anodizing looks poor, looks like it's painted.

Has any bought one?

This seems to be a very nice flashlight!

I'm also looking forward to someone's review.

It says 900 Lumen, it is strange to see a Chinese product with real specs.

Looks like the same deep reflector that we first saw in the Trustfire USA168. If it is then the hotspot would be 38 cm wide at 10 metres.

The head on the Trustfire USA168 is only 45mm

The T6 is 58mm
