Which charger you recomend for newbie flashaholic?

The Lii-500 can analyze (measured cell capacity) and has a good voltage display. The VC-4 is probably more reliable, though that is just based on Internet forum comments.

VC-4 is easy to use and works well. Agree that it may be more reliable. The read-out isn’t entirely useless but they certainly aren’t accurate. It just charges well.
Lii-500 is not hard to use and does more, including analyzing which is an important function to me. When the bay is full getting batteries out is a minor pain. More room in the Xtar.
After I got my Lii-500 I sold my VC-4.
