There probably will be some tweaking done before production.

That is quick!
Only way to see the results is to vote?
Well, what should we (the designer) vote on? Our own designs? Or the I dont care option?
Yes I had it ready only needed your pics and post nr
dang hard choice, glad everybody can vote here.

we’re just voting on body style right? Not font/labeling?

Just to remind everyone. Design 4 still needs some knurling on the battery tube!
All design are just awesome! Hard to choose.
There are three tabs at the top. One of the is “Results”
I like them all, but the one that stands out most to me and look diffrent from other makers and previous lights made is nr 1.
It has a clean look, less machining/ milling operations = Lower cost in true BLF spirit.
Lets make this the badass light it was ment to be, save on machining but not the innards like reflector and engine.
Great work guys!
From a manufacturing standpoint design 2 would be cheaper to produce most likely, it would need much less mill work.

I can not find the Box-Design
It seems you’re blinded by the light…
Interesting as it looks more like option nr 2 needs more milling and option nr 1 is less patterns and grooves.
But i am no expert or manufacurer. It just seems more logical to me. But i will leave this to the experts.
I still like nr1 better for looks.
Keep up the good work
I’d say it’s approximately the same for all of them. For one design it’s cheaper to manufacture the head, for the other the body is cheaper and so on. My guess is that it evens out somehow.
Maybe Design 4 would even be cheapest since it has many straight surfaces and one part less. After that my guess would be Design 3 and most expensive are 1 & 2. However, I don’t believe that that would reflect in a significant difference in the overall price.
But those fins on number 1 is way of in my thougts….

Design 2 looks awesome, but how can it compete with design 5? I’m sure we can all agree that design 5 is quite evidently the winner here.
I personally like 1 the best, because I’m a fan of polarion, but I think the head cone needs some additions to make it not look so plain.
Polarion for reference:
Beautiful head design IMO.

Fritz design reminds me of the Surefire Beast II
Just needs some Rubber Bumpers and the Ultimate Beast is born .
The BLF GT Beast !
Funny you mention the bumpers since the design actually intends plastic bumpers at tailcap and bezel

All designs look good.
Design 2 is superb but haven’t we got already a gazillion similarly looking lights ?
N°1 is really distinctive and plastic bumpers (hopefully rubery) will come very handy with a light this size and mass if one buy it to actually use.
I know
Love your work !
Any chance you could send me some more renderings of the design? Maybe try and incorporate more fins at the base of the head for even better heat dissapation without changing the looks? Seems many here would like to mod these for quad setups when the GT is launched and it could be wise to make it a platform to cater both worlds.
This is going to take some time! It was hard, but I narrowed my choice down to 4 now!
KB1428 “Live Life WOT”
All the designs look great. You did a good job guys!
The 1970s called, they want #1 and #3 back…
Seriously, if either of those very plain designs win, please withdraw my intent to buy.
I’m also thinking of withdrawing my order if one of those win. For me, number 2 is the only design that is badass enough to be a million candela light.
Well, i didn’t vote for #3 (my attempt) either.
I think my earlier ones were better actually, maybe sat too long behind the screen, i dunno..
Still not exited about #2 though, and #1 needs some work too i.m.o. but has the most potential.
Maybe in the end we’ll have something we all can live with.
We are not building a beauty queen, but a thrower flashlight. I will buy it no matter what it will look like.
I PREFER the heatsink fin design of option two most of all.It seems enough for those who want to throw in XHP70 LEDs into the light. The knurling is pretty awesome but not super necessary and the head design again is awesome, but a basic cone shape like option 1 is fine if it keeps the cost to a minimum. Thanks
My gratitude to those who are willing and able to help others (in whatever way you can)! Being human is more than just existing for yourself.
I’m torn between 2 designs that I really like, kind of deciding between 2 beautiful women…
