This isn't meant to slander any of the listed websites. This might help to educate buyers who aren't familiar with the large list of Chinese flashlight retailers. It also might help to encourage the websites to make some positive changes :)

Out of those, Tmart. I'd rather wait or pay more than order from them. I have given them several chances but they somehow managed to screw something up every single order.

I also won't be ordering from Eazzydeal any more (never received a thing they say they shipped, never bothered to reply to any of my or Paypal's emails; buying from them is colossal waste of time, if you ask me).

If I can help it, I also avoid Exduct (they are great, but for the most part, the prices just aren't really competitive since they insist on charging S&H for every item you buy; if there was a flat fee shipping option, they'd be getting a lot more of my business) and KD (not too crazy about their website, still won't reply to my emails except in a blue moon, besides I don't do a lot of DIY these days).

Goodluckbuy are useless. They sold me Grease as Thermal glue.

I wish you could vote for more than one, because there are 3 vendors on there I don't plan on using anymore. Guess which 3?

the way dealextreme has been of late..I avoid them like the plague..a real shame..

I think a lot depends on personal experience.

I haven't had a lot to complain about with focalprice myself, but it's possible they turned worse, I don't know, now they better don't screw up my 3t6 just to prove I'm wrong :)

DX has been up and down for me, at times they just did very well and at times they suck really bad, when they start screwing up orders again I tend to avoid them for a while and then start ordering again when I forget what they did. Have to say, they managed to break my led driver on my last order, but I got a fast reply from CS and they arranged to send a new one straight away and told me to keep the broken one, so they made up for their error and in acceptable time.

I'm a bargain hunter and don't care to wait a while if the price is right.

I see nobody selects Manafont, I haven't ordered from them before, but aren't all their goods priced higher than the competition?

manafont is a tad higher but man do they make it up for it in speed and CS..i'll spend the extra buck or 2 for the service..

I voted for T-mart. I've ordered twice from them and haven't been really happy either time.

I was gonna add a couple more vendors but I didn't want to dilute the results. I figured I could leave Kai domain off because they seem to be used more for modding and replacement parts.

I voted for FP

From that list, Tmart for sure. They eventually made me right on a small order but it took so dang long to even get a response . . . by the time I got the promised battery, I had forgotten I had one coming. Which, I suppose, works for them.

When ordering from somebody I've never dealt with before, I usually put in an insignificant order and see how they do . . .

tmartfailedFoy

and focalprice is the next one on my list

I'm surprised CNQG has more votes than DX

I'm even more surprised DD have the most votes despite all the HUGE group buy from them threads always make the front page... And nobody ever complain about the purchase they made from DD recently . It just doesn't add up

I have ordered alot of stuff from DD. Its really hit or miss. When things go wrong, it can be like pulling teeth to get them to set it right. You have to be really careful when ordering from them because they tend to just send anything thats "close enough". I'd still order from them, but stick to stuff that has been reported by members as OK.

I see focalprice (and his derivates, lazerpoint etc.) are going strong... :)

I only have direct experience (actual orders) from DX, Manafont, and Tmart on this list. I've also ordered from KD.

I voted for DD just on principal. It's the most obvious screwed up site.

I don't like KD's website and half the time my order doesn't show up in the system even though it eventually arrives. I'd use them only if they had a part that DX didn't have.

DX is DX :) It's generally slow, communication is maddening and the product specs are generally inaccurate (rather than deceitful) but it is cheap, the carry the most products and the product always arrives. They have the best sharing of info between customers. Sometimes it's just as fast as Manafont...usually not however.

Manafont is a little higher as far as prices but not enough to matter if the product really matters to you. They are generally a lot faster and customer service is good. They just don't carry as much as DX.

I've placed 4 or 5 orders with Tmart and have received all of them in one week or less (usually less) and all the items has worked as advertised. They don't carry much that I want and I'm aware that others have had a different experience.

I haven't ordered form Focalprice or most of the others and don't intend to unless some company comes along that gets better reviews than Manafont.

Dinodirect just isn't worth encouraging for me. I've considered it from time to time but it's never worth the hassle and the benefit isn't there for me. I can get better prices at better places even when considering their endless discounts.

Some of the group buys appear to be good deals but it's never for anything that I want. I don't buy lights just because they were expensive and now are cheaper. I have to want them in the first place. I also just don't like the vibe at Dinodirect.

It reminds me of dealing with a used car salesman.

KD - it logs you out within 5 mins or something, so JUST before you place your order, Check that your logged in, or log in again, and then place your order.

All my KD orders have arrived, and were alright. Except once... I got a 18650 charger instead of a light diffuser attachment. Don't know how that happened... but when I ordered the same item again, I got the right one.

A supervised group buy to a forum is closely watched by management that is a completely different purchase than a random purchase by a consumer. How about those original 2AA light Summer gave out, did anyone get one that worked for more than a minute.
