I ordered the ZY-777 on sunday and it was shipped out yesterday, sorry for not telling it here but hopefully it will be worth the money Smile

Well, I was thinking about the same. I have even bought those thread-locking 1$ eBay lights and I feel even those are worth the $.

If this works as I expect: runs low current, does 10h on fresh cells, gives 80+lumens, has somekind of beam (got some diffuser coming anyway to clean it up), has threads to open close, aluminum thick enough not to crumble when I grab it - I´m happy. Smile

I can also smell, this could be modded easily but let´s see....

Another D-cell light I've been looking at is this one http://www.long-lighting.com/ProductShow.asp?ID=660

Haven't found any more info or any stores to buy from though but I guess it's not going to be very budget.

$35 + shipping, according to their price list (from one month ago).

You may buy directly from long-lighting. Just email them: sales@long-lighting.com
