BangGood BLF A6 A17DD-L FET+1

I bought a BLF A6 A17DD-L FET+1 from BangGood at £5.02, then I spotted the M4DM4X coupon code and ordered one at £4.04. That arrived today (ordered only 11 days ago) and now they are at £3.36 ($4.06) :frowning:

sorry to hear that, but part prices are fluid, as always. there is always another sale or promotion coming up. You might want to send a friendly PM to the bg’s customer support and kindly ask whether they price match against their own promos. Or maybe for a few points? I have never done this myself but I am a very happy BG customer.

I’m not too bothered. Just a little story to go along with current offer price. I quiet like these drivers now.

Little help here ?

As I understand it on Group 1 it have mode memory on on Group 2 don’t have ?

Does it have a LVP ?

This turbo mode can be run full time or it have some timer ?

i have a question.how to make one mode, only turbo mode with this flaslight.direct drive?

Bypass the driver? :+1:

Could someone compare/contrast the BLF A6 driver vs MTN17DD?

My knowledge level is poor, but I love to learn.

Thanks!

The mountain has the positive wire directly from the spring to LED, so a little less resistance

It is in a lot more Firmwares availiable
Also firmwares you can program to 1 mode

Any help on my question someone who have this driver
I would like to buy couple of them when price is low.

You can choose mode memory in both groups.

Low-voltage protection will progressively step down the output at
about 2.8V, and the light will shut itself off when even the
lowest level gets below 2.8V.

Turbo timer is 45s, but you can just bump it back up.

EDIT : link fixed

Thank you, that link is not working whatever it is.

All is ok, except that turbo timer 45s may be too little time…

‘’but you can just bump it back up’’

I assume that the mode memory can be used on turbo mode, and if it can be used what hapens exactly ?

I turn on the light and then after 45s it going where to high mode or ? Also how can fast you get to turbo mode again and how to do that ?

I can’t find nowhere explained this.

You can bump right back to turbo its really annoying though. Either find someone who can reflash the a6 driver to not have the timer or go with the mtn one that you can disable turbo timer. That’s what I do. Either mtn with bistro, or the a6 reflashed with no timer

Mtn is not a option, I can’t buy from them.

When step down from turbo it goes to high or ? And how to get turbo again one click or more ?

Maybe that is not so bad if can go to turbo again in one click…

It steps down to high, one half press to go back to turbo.

Ok, that is not so bad, thank you, I will order 4 pcs because of low price now.

If there is some topic where someone do a measure of amps on modes I’d like to see that. It write that is on turbo ‘’current 4A-6A’’, but no info for lower modes for example high how many is output current.

In turbo, the light gets HOT. After a couple of 45 sec operation, I use only Hi. Also mode change gets erratic once the light is warmed up.

Someone tried to reprogram this drivers?
