Ah come on, €43/$44 for a well equipped S70s?
This is just mean towards Simon.
WUT $37 that is ~25% lower then a L6 with maxed out coupons, dang with the longer time before stepdown of the “s” version and that complete package it is almost sad.

Basically they added a true 1 lumen moonlight. I’d like someone to compare both. I have the original one. And its very bright.
On this one you have moon 1, low 65, mid 350?, high 1800, turbo 3960.

The old ones tested higher then 3000 lumens. So they may have changed some resistors on the driver to increase output. I’d expect these to hit over 4k lumens. Just about every thorfire light seems underrated. Don’t see why they would stop now. But to get one for $40 is a great deal. I paid $70 for the original when it first came out.

Blf has changed a lot since I've been here. Lots of snow flakes and easily offended over nothing. When the forum use to be great and people joked around and could take a joke. It's a forum it's not that serious. Let's make BLF great again!

Thanks for the link Jerommel!

The code is still active. With the 2 coupons, I couldn’t resist.

$36.99 shipped.

I love getting a good deal!

Didn’t the original S70 have a Flat or flats on the battery tube? This new S70S has a full round tube, which is really appealing to me, along with the price! Yeah I ordered one, can’t wait to see what else, internally, they have improved! Wink

I am still resisting, but have now put one in my cart Facepalm

4000 lumens (possibly more due to Thorfire“s habit of under rating, my S70 original is 3600 stock & most reported 3600-3800 lumens stock) for $37 or £30 Facepalm
I have just paid more than that for an SRK clone Shocked , albeit reported on here as having genuine Cree XM-L2“s & 3000 lumens on start up before heat becomes a problem.
I must stop myself buying this S70s Sad

I don’t NEED a S70S.

But I DO NEED a S70S for $36.99.

You must not NEED one like the rest of us.

So just empty your cart, close your browser, and wait for the sale to be over.

Cool

Well my whole family just prefers a big light like the S70 or L6, we are with 3, and with only 1 S70 and 1 L6 (the D170 is a smaller) there is space for 1 big light more Smile

5200mah & 15-20A constant drain.
I also have Keeppower, Basen & Thorfire 26650“s & the Liitokala“s are the best IMO Smile

I guess it is like “judging a book by it’s cover”….. but I totally agree Glenn.
I have a S70….. but to me it still looks like crap. Sad ….. Especially when compared to the L6.

EDIT: i just read down to the $37 part… at that price I’ll just have to live with v2 still looking like crap to me. Too good a deal to pass up based on looks alone. Cause no doubt they are a proven performer!! Thumbs Up
