According to last years rumors the X9 has active cooling, and back then they said it was 12k lumens. It probably uses 7x XHP-70, 25k lumens is very impressive for the size.
USB power meter/tester thread
It used to be impressive for the size, but at present it is about the size you expect, I see 2 or 3 ×7’s worth of volume and also of output.
link to djozz tests
looking at the head design it may be really active cooled as in the back of the head are small air holes
and the fins on the head seems to have darker areas where they are go through the inside of the head

It was only a matter of time, I am waiting for the 50k lumen barrier to be broken.
Still, looks nice, and expensive.

50k with decent runtime and acceptable size and weight calls for a backpack with water radiator and battery connected to a small handle with huge head

I hope it have mass enough to run more than 2 minutes in turbo…..
The X9 is active cooled with a fan, maybe running a couple of minutes at 25k, but it will step down for sure

Thats a great evolution!
I think if that light can run about 15k with no more step down, it will be PERFECT
Impressive, but just too big to be useful in real life (for most of us).

Sure.
It has a cooling fan to confront the huge quantity of heat.
Forget it because of Olight.
There are not rumors. If you look at the video here,http://budgetlightforum.com/node/44410 ,you will hear the Olight man,to say clear that there is a cooling fan in X9.
Didn’t anyone there ask questions about runtime, stepdowns, battery requirements, and a live demonstration? This unsubstantiated 25,000 lumens number has been kicked around but all that’s observable is the shell of a flashlight in one pic. Does that pictured light even turn on?
No details available anywhere on the web, i dread to think whats the £$ will be!
i guess, 399$, maybe, who know
they should use Lipo, Reduce the weight
maybe a can light 25K lumen
Forgot my pen
I tried my best to get there, but unfortunately couldn’t get past the planning stage. Way too much money between travel and a room to sleep in. That and I believe it requires commercial access to get in.
Would have loved to be there though.
My guess is that the price will be $400 indeed.

$400 for a 25k lumen olight light sounds too cheap to me.
A few reviews:
Baofeng UV-6R | ThorFire TK4A | HaikeLite MT07 Buffalo | Thorfire VG15S | Klarus XT12GT | Imlent DN70 | Amazon stuff
I think at least $599 if it comes with the battery pack…
USB power meter/tester thread
I think $200 – $2000 is a safe guess.

Such flashlights are very impressive, but I wonder how many pieces are sold and (as I guess the answer is not many) what’s their profit margin…

Having a big flashlight acting like a small one it is not too attractive, too little juice to enjoy real serious power, even if the temperature is ok.
How many cells are in the X9, 6pcs like in the previous Olight products from the Intimidator series?

So USD 400:-
Actually not too bad, given the competition’s pricing.
But it’s gigantic
