Jet Beam Mk I emitter issue - advise or help

Hi everyone!

Just before Christmas 2016 I thought that I need simple AA flashlight.
My choice was Jet Beam Mk I, that I purchased from Gearbest and a second was Thrunite T10.
Both are great.

On last Sunday I took my Jet Beam for a walking with a camera to take some photos:

And I thought, let’s do some macro shots of emitter, and when I viewed photos I remark that there is something on emitter.

In upper right side - is it flux or glue?

I also took photos in UV light (on right side - flashlight rotated sightly)

So I want to ask you about some help or advise - is this matter to worry?

Is it devastating in some way emitter?

It probably is blocking a small amount of light, but not enough to worry about. If it burns and turns black, then it is a problem. But if you have been using it for awhile it will probably not burn.

Not sure what it is. It won’t hurt the emitter though.

Good to see that these come with the old style XP-G2, they are so much better than the new style.

going to take a wild guess that is thermal grease
