Way to go, must be an E-Biker on li-po?

Are they ATX standard or upped with resistors?

If people are wondering how i come up with the above data table's i posted on this battery test, i data log using my icharger 106b+ connected to my computer for my battery tests, i use a program logVeiw V2.7.4* with icharger 106B+ with firmware v3.14 upgrade and then recalibrated the charger.

I use this program for my data log,s and for the data charts i post

http://www.logview.info/vBulletin/content.php?47-screenshots_1

I use the data tables instead of graphs becuse i find it simple and think it would be easy for other people to read and the data tables includes charge time updated every 2 seconds, voltage, watts, engery, mAh, plus induvidual cell voltage for upto 6 cells, internal temp of my charger, battery temperture, the chargers imput voltage from the power supply and so on and i can not get all that infomation on one graph.

I usualy only include the end of the charge cycle then hit the print screan button on the key board while the logVeiw program is running and opean on the screan of my computer, save the image in paint, then crop the image down with microsoft picture it! then up load the image to photobucket then post the image on the thread.

I cut out things like battery and charger tempture and induvidual cell voltage if im only doing one cell at a time to test.

Thanks benckie

I can't thank you enough for your continuous efforts to enlighten us. This is really awesome and I learned a great deal from all this informative stuff. I have to admit though that too much reading sometimes causes confusions. May I kindly suggest that you create a new thread for Li-Ion battery recommendations where you list the batteries in order of your preference and value for money. It will be a quick reference for us newbies instead of trying to dig out information from different threads.

Sorry for rambling guys. Smile

Sounds like a great idea.

There is two protected batteries that stand to me these Trustfires flames ive tested here and the redilast batteries, the redilast are not cheap.

But i do like the solarfoce V2,s well match low internal resistance but they are about $5 usd more then the Trustfires flames.

I might stick with the protected redilast's, i will buy more of the redilast's but they are from $12 to $19.75 USD each plus shipping.

Benckie, I got the TF 2400 batts from MF today and they were all between 3.86-3.89v and i did a quick 1A test after charging to 4.18v on an XSTAR WP2 11.

I discharged one with a Multiplex charger at 1A to 3v and got 2262ma with 3.6v resting voltage. So I think they are good value for a protected cell, thanks for the prompt. Will do a 0.5A charge to 4.2v tomorrow and post here.

It will be interesting to see how they perform over the long term cycle life against Sanyo 2600 cells with single XM-L use.

They should give more mAh with a 0.5 amp discharge and you can go down to 2.75 volt also

Yes, and it was only charged with an XTAR idiot charger, bit hyper at the mo' so I put it on charge with the Multiplex at 0.5A a few minutes ago.Cool
