Banggood out of good 18650s?

So guys, I’ve gotten quite a few Google ads for 18650 batteries from BG. Thing is, I’m actually interested in getting some new 18650s from them for a few reasons, including them being the most well-equipped store when it comes to dealing with Brazilian customers (being able to pay with our own currency instead of depending on dollar fluctuations helps a lot), but they’re out on all of their batteries, no matter the brand or rebrand: Sanyo, Panasonic, Samsung, Thorfire, Fenix, Nitecore, even overstated rubbish like Meco – EVERYTHING is sold out! The only, literally the only, batteries I found in stock were Keeppower protected 3500mAh ones.

That’s been going on since early January, and I thought by this point (now that Chinese New Year is over) the scarcity would be dealt with already, but nothing. I’m considering going to Fasttech to get my cells by this point.

What can cause such a big store to universally run out of their stocks of batteries like that? It reaches the realms of absurdity :confounded:

G'Day Jack Kellar,

When Banggood can't ship Li Batteries to your location, then they show all the batteries as being out of stock.

Best Regards,

George

Strange, and I’m not gonna pretend I understand. I do know for a fact, though, that the Keeppower 3500mAh cells are perfectly available.

Thanks, though.

If you try to buy the Keeppower cells it is quite likely you will get a message when you add them to the cart that they can’t ship to your location, or CS will contact you.

I’m in the same boat as you since New Year none of the batteries are available except for the KP18650 you mentioned which I find very strange considering the Liitokala 26650 was available 2 months ago.

I have just logged on to Banggood & typed in 18650 lithium battery in the search bar & page after page of lithium batteries are shown.
It must be because BG can”t ship to your location, as others have said, that no batteries are shown.

Man, that blows chunks harder than a busy day at the quarry :expressionless: BG really should just come out and say “sorry, we can’t ship to your current location at the moment”, the honesty would be appreciated.

Hopefully Fasttech doesn’t have the same issue, as I’m not in Australia. I’ll give them a spin.

Thanks for all the answers, my people, y’all are the best :crown:

Well put, I like the way you worded that!!! :+1: …

Haha, thanks man, took me a bit to think up a funny analogy

Where are you? I just ordered some Sunday.

AFAIK he is in Brazil, but he is the only Brazil resident that can't play fútbol

Jack, you are from brazil?

I just order in gearbest, its not good like bg shipping but it arrives……… Almost 3x more slower :person_facepalming:

The price in gb is very low :zipper_mouth_face:

I know, I’ve had my experience with them when I bought an Olight S30. Took a REALLY long time to arrive, but it eventually did. I’m still gonna try Fasttech first, hopefully I won’t face the same restrictions as Australia.

And yes, mah people, Brazilian right here, and proud not to be a fanatic for association football. :smiling_imp: Now if you wanna talk about archery or cycling, you got someone to yap with :crown:

Good, I’m a football hater and live in brazil! :sunglasses:

So, I always cheering for other nation win in wolrd cup…… I laugh enough in 2014, almost died when the 7x1 happens :zipper_mouth_face:  :innocent:

I just didn’t give a toss, - cheering for the other side was too much effort and seemed just petty to me. I just enjoyed the plays, as there’s nothing wrong with the sport and a good show is a good show no matter what field it’s in; the thing with me is that I don’t buy into the almost-cult of personality that comes with it. (tanto que de vez em quando eu assisto jogos da série B quando estou entediado e me divirto um tantinho, a rapaziada sabe bater bola)

But to each their own. And I think we went off-topic enough right here

Even within Brazil shipping is expensive, slow, and often less than reliable (outside of the major cities and metro regions at least).

In the fishing and military supply shops along the lower Amazon, you might find a selection of D cell Maglites surrounded by low quality (Xing Ling) Chinese 18650 lights, but the only batteries available are laptop pulls tossed randomly in shoeboxes.

In the capital cities in NE Brazil it is easy to find vaping equipment in the tobacco shops, but no batteries are sold. Imagine sucking on modded vaping boxes powered by laptop pulls. :open_mouth:  :confounded:

They're sensibly overpriced on lots of stuff, they've discontinued lots of products in my wishlist, I've seen them unreasonably jacking up prices for items not in stock… not much else to say except I have 240 unspent points, and Bangsucks.

Cheers ^:)

Hence the desperate need for good Chinese stores to sell us those. :weary:

We have some Brazilian friends that live here in the US. They go back home a few times a year and are always smuggling electronic items for friends.

I know its Ebay but I have been ordering my cells from this seller and he has really good deals and a very high feed back rating. From Florida to my home town in Nevada in 3 days! All the batteries I have ordered have been high quality. His prices are very fair with free shipping.
