Email alerts still working for me.
Happened to me few months back. Worked properly one day once since then…but stopped working abruptly. Now does not function at all. SB has no control over it. Only suggestion he gave me was to change email address to new one.
Nothing in my spam folder, I have just abruptly stopped getting email alerts.
Changing email address would be a right pain for me for various reasons :person_facepalming:
Looks like I will just have to make do without the feature then

Bumping because it’s happening to me too Not that I mind having to come here and check on what’s new (which I always enjoy) but worrisome if by chance I forget and miss a GB I’ve signed up for :rage:

Well I just got 2 on threads I just posted in so maybe it’s fixed? But I’ll wait till later to be sure it’s working on the older threads I keep up with before I rescind my complaint.

Hi everyone, sorry for the trouble that some are having. I’m not personally experiencing any problems, and I haven’t made any changes to the BLF notifications configuration, but I don’t deny that it’s happening to others. Unfortunately issues with email are virtually impossible to debug, as email in general is the most arcane and chaotic technology that I’ve had the misfortune of working with. It will probably resolve itself sooner or later. As always, check your spam folder, and please let me know if any BLF notifications ever appear there. Thanks!
I like getting new post notifications even when I am logged on.
By default, this is disabled.

Actually that option doesn’t do anything at the moment, you should always receive 1 notification until you re-visit the thread, whether you are logged in or not.
Yeh, sorry to say my notifications died several months back. Then for half a day they came back…then departed for good. Dunno what happened. It’s good I visit BLF every day …don’t miss much of anything that way.
