Jetbeam Pro ii Cuts Out ???

I recently bought the Jetbeam Pro ii … whilst I think it’s an amasing little light with one of the best throw to flood ratios possible, twice I’ve been using it on mid for approx 5 / 8 mins and it’s just switched off.

The 1st time I thought maybe I’d accidentally hit the off button by mistake last night but when it did the same again tonight I realised that probably wasn’t the case and on both occasions it switched back on immediately.

As it was on mid rather than turbo it really shouldn’t be an overheating issue and the light wasn’t even luke warm to touch … I checked the battery just now and it’s still got 3.84v in it so I doubt it’s anything to do with that … I did wonder if it was something to do with the voltage dropping under load so when it happened tonight to eliminate that I switched it back on again I put it on high for about 30 seconds before the battery had a chance to recover and it was fine.

Anyone any idea what it may be???

Just to make sure… Have you been clicking the button tons? IIRC, a triple click from on sets the light to a 3 minute timer, and another triple click sets it on a 9 min timer. Take my numbers with a grain of salt; way too lazy to look it up and my Jet-II PRO is like 2 rooms away. It’s the only thing I can think of.

Cythras,
You may well be right … I had been messing around with different modes so that could easily be what happened … I’ll monitor it but I’m 90% sure that’s what it may be so cheers for that!!!

No worries; hopefully that was the “problem”. I love the design of the light, one of my all time favourites for sure. If only Jetbeam used low -> high and not the other way around…
