Ok so the big deals are over. (well i got what i wanted LOL!)
Just to help Summer to post. I am going to take a partial retirement from buying. Currently only have 3 small orders (drop-in from DD and Zebra clone UF-V4 from MAnafont) and 1 large order (the TR-J12 5 x XM-L).
Bold is the price you will pay.
1 iTP A3 $18.99---$17.03
2 Klarus P2A $29.69---$26.45
3 Jetbeam BC40 $52.69---after coupon $42.69
Summer will post the codes soon. Just add on to the end of the post if interested. Shouldn't be an issue coz the low pricings for Xmas are well known.
Note : For this GB I negotiated with them to give the absolute best price. This DOES NOT include Registered Article number via China Post Air Mail. You have to buy that $2 Insurance during Checkout process. Ultimately it depends on your preference.
If we can suggest a product, that is not in DD offer yet, I vote for something small, that would make a nice Christmas gift. For example an Olight i3 in different color versions.
If it has to be chosen from existing DD stock, Jetbeam BA10 (1xAA) would be nice.
Fenix LD01 (1xAAA) would also be nice.
They already have good prices, but if a group buy could make them even lower, that would be awesome.
MCU-C88. Been eyeing this one up for a bit now. A great deal might get me to pull the trigger.
Trustfire X9. We don't all have an X9 yet and a great deal on one would sells tons more.
The more expensive suggestions are nice for the minority but most of us are still unable to justify more than $30 for a small light even if it is priced at a fantastic discount. This is still BLF and lately I've been seeing tastes heading more towards CPF territory and I believe it's because the budget lights aren't coming out fast enough to satisfy many members here. There are still lots of great budget lights to be had that many of us don't own yet. Just my $0.02
The previous GBs did include EDCs like the V10A and iTP SA1 XP-G. But no harm including another one.
The branded lights are the only way to get rid of visible PWM. There is only 1 budget light that has no real visible PWM, and that's the UF-2100 which is at 1.7kHz (in one of our GBs surprisingly). A lot of people are complaining about PWM like in the DRY even at 200Hz. The iTPs are not really budget too...but still manageable for 90% of the folks i guess. iTP has approx 1kHz PWM.
ChibiM, the SA1 and V10A are 14500 based. SA1 is a bit big though...... but they are XP-Gs (ie !@#%!#@$ bright for a small light and as compared to the A3). Not as bright as Xeno E03, but that light i'd agree that it does not have a useful low-low.
I have the TK-703 (AAA, XP-E) as my keys' light, and even on a 10440 it is not nearly bright enough for my preference unless you do not use it outdoors. But most prob we can include the iTP A3. I have the iTP A1 and that is my preference as minimum brightness.
BTW - I won't make the call.....just see which one(s) Summer can get access to.
