One premium light and one budget is a very good idea ! I vote for BC40 for ~45$  (or PC25 for similiar price) Laughing

I would like a BC40 for $40.

Or the new PA10 or PC10 for $40.

Or all three light for$100

+4. The H2 deal was great and I really like my H3, but the thing is, I only got one head.

One premium deal, one budget deal is an excellent idea, IMHO.

Well, I think you have to do something about those prices to make it interesting... at least for the SS A3:

http://ngshopping.com/Product-2034787-ITP-A3-EOS-SS-3-Modes-Cree-XPG-R5....

http://ngshopping.com/Product-853981-iTP-A3-EOS-SS-Cree-7090-XP-E-Q5-3.aspx

The alu version of the A3 is sold out in many places... are you sure that you can get enough in every colour?

http://www.shiningbeam.com/servlet/the-244/ITP-A3-EOS-Cree/Detail

The price of the 502 is OK, depending on what charger is included. (picture?)

http://ngshopping.com/Products-Search.aspx?qa=wf%20502

The A3 SS for $23-24 would be nice.

The A3 alu for $17-18 would be nice

ITP A3 Q5 new with free shipping on eBay for $23

R5 version is $25 with $3 shipping

These are new and shipped from the U.S.

SS version $35 with free shipping from HK

There is a WF502b Q5 (can't even find a Q3) for $16 with free shipping

These prices are all "Buy It Now" prices.

Haha...

Yeah, it's amazing this is post 103 and it's Nov 18th and the group buy which hasn't gotten off the ground yet is for lights that anyone can get cheaper and with faster delivery elsewhere.

The original prices (before the discount) listed by DD are ridiculous. No one has ever sold them at those prices.

After this "discount" they are still the highest prices, I've ever seen for these lights.

Either Summer is joking, or he thinks people here are idiots...

Hey Summer, take a look at the normal prices for these lights:

I think he/she just doesn't get it. We mention that the "normal" prices on their website are just made up numbers and the response is generally "we're looking at changing that".

It's the same answer as the phony reviews. We think "Summer" is different and yet here is a post with ridiculous original prices so I don't think Summer thinks we are idiots. I think Summer (along with many others) just doesn't get it.

Whatever input we give will always be acknowledged with "thank you very much and we're going to improve" but the message really wasn't comprehended in the first place.

Summer contacted me to make a new groupbuy for the ITP A3, but the prices he mentioned are not really interesting for a groupbuy.. I asked him to reconsider the prices.
I gave him some links to different retailers, with their prices.
Its getting late,so I guess he will answer me tomorrow or the day after..

Hope things will start rolling soon!

Edit: I now see that he already posted the prices in this thread... sorry

i just bought a 502b with xml for like $10.79, so that price wouldnt interest me.

i just looked to see what an rc-c6 cost at dd and dx. dd is 24.69, dx is 13.16. dino really does need a reality check in the price department if they think a rc-c6 retails at almost $50...

that said, how about the budget light be an rc-c6 or rc-c8 for about $10

i would ask for the uf-2100 again, but its been done already, the same reason i think we shouldnt do a headlight this time around again

I can buy the aluminum ITP A3 EOS for $18.66 shipped from Amazon right now in red, blue, or purple.

Can also get the Stainless Steel version from LightJunction for $34.95 shipped at any time.

You really need to do better than that. As for the 502B with an XR-E Q3 I highly doubt anyone will want that one.

Summer seems to be working too many other forums and group deals.  He has not offered us a realistic group buy. If the only buys he offers are late for xmas, under powered, old style, AND over priced I'll need to make my next purchase elsewhere.

Summer,

Thanks for the group buy offer.  But with the knowledge in this forum, the price you offer will discourage members here more about DD.  Maybe just not do the group buy and get our hopes up.  Thanks for all the help here to resolve our problems.  We do not might paying a little bit higher price for good service.  Just not premium price for budget products.  We get good service from you.  The only problem is the DD price.  Anyway, I think I spend the most money at DD the last couple months than other site because of the price and your service.  But seem that will change.  Just my $.02

Hello, thanks all guys here for your comment and suggestions. Well, i promise the price of these three lights are the lowest we can give to you. There might be some other stores have these lights at a lower price, but there might be some difference on our purchasing from the suppliers. I have reported to our product center to try to get the items at a much lower price, then we can also offer you a better price in the future.

And for the batteries problem, we sincerely appologize to the members here. I have told our product center to check the items more carefully after we get from the suppliers. If there are any other members who got the wrong ones, please directly contact with our online customer service, then they will give you a reasonable price. Or you can contact with me to solve your problem. For the wrong ones, we will give you a full refund or gift card.

My house : www.dinodirect.com/~p.12bc/

If you want buy anything, please contact with me for the magic link, I can give you the lowest price.

For all of you: Best Regards

About group buys.

I haven´t participated in many of them but aren´t they supposed to work like:

-Some seller want´s to sell a big quantity and/or do a good PR.

-Seller decides some popular item to be sold as group buy to get a large number of people interested over the net.

-Seller usually presses the price down, trusting that the large amount of sale is covering the diminishing profit.

Can´t find much sense in doing "group-buys" for regular price +20% or am I just missing something?

Group buys are only interesting to us, when they offer a substantial benefit over current market situation like: better price, better features, included accessories. Summer ... you can check your prices first for yourself  before offering the items to us at sites like: ngshopping.com, ebay.com, other dealers  .... that way you get a good impression what items/prices would qualify for a group buy. The Fenix E21/ UF2100 /UF H2/ITP SA1/Sunwayman V10A were great deals and worthy of a group buy and we are a little bit spoiled by your generous 20% coupon from the past.

I think the lights from your Jetbeam line-up, which are already under $60 would make nice candidates:
