There is significant difference between the two batteries and the capacity is 2000 and 2200mAh at low current. The batteries can handle up to about 7A.
GTL%2026650%2012000mAh%20(White)-Temp-7.0
At 7A the A cell get warmest.
GTL%2026650%2012000mAh%20(White)-Temp-10.0
At 10A it is the B cell.

Conclusion
These cells where never going to be anywhere near the rated capacity, instead they have less capacity than most other 26650 cells.
I will call them bad cells.

I would expect them to be more dangerous than brand name cells, but I do not know how much (The have considerable less stored energy).

It would be very interesting to open one of these.
2000-2200mAh is the normal capacity for cheap no name 18650s – maybe it’s just a 26650-looking 18650?

Like those nigerian spam letters – purposefully worded with spelling mistakes so that smart people immediately know it’s a scam and don’t bother reading. Big Smile

I may get around to that when the weather gets warmer.
