(Sold) diving light 4x XM-L2 and 1X XPH-50 with DD FET low resistance driver

Up for sale today is my Arctic monsoon diving light. Yeah I know, it's a corny name. But the light is cool. It's small for a 2x26650 light. It will also use 2x18650 and the adapters are included. It's been modded to include a single XPH-50 emitter in the center and four XM-L2's surround that. This originally came with a magnetic switch that never did work. (not that I would have left the stock driver in anyway) It now has a BLF FET low Resistance Direct Drive Driver with the zenor mod done. (Four modes with memory, no blinkies) You change modes by twisting the tailcap. How far can you dive with this light? I have absolutely no idea. But it's definitely good enough for shallow water. Maybe they should call it a snorkeling light rather than a dive light? It has good seals it's just that I don't think I would trust it at any kind of great depth. The seals are good but not anything as heavy duty as the multiple seals I have seen on professional high end diving lights.

It's a very floody light with a great beam, nice tint too. Tons of power and depending on what batteries you use it can easily his 6,000 lumens. Not bad at all for such a small light. It's comfortable to carry as well. Fits nice in the hand for sure, not too heavy either even loaded with batteries. Heat transfer is good. The XM-L2's are on Sinkpads and the XPH-50 is on a noctigon.

As always, the first PM gets the light.

That's a standard generic C8 next to the light for comparison.

Leaving to a good home.

I received it yesterday, thank you! Thanks for getting it to me so quickly.

I like this thing because it’s different from what I already have, but mostly due to how comfortable it is to use…you were not wrong! It’s the perfect size for a 2x26650 light. And on it’s highest mode it has an awesome diffused floody beam! I do have to get used to the twist tail cap thing though, but it’s nice to have something a little different. I actually don’t have any other multiple emitter lights.

Thanks again

You’re welcome and I’m glad you like it. It’s a whole lot of light in a small package.
